Record of Ragnarok (shuumatsu no valkyrie) has been one of my favorite shows to watch recently and Adam's story is so wild I had to make a high energy rock rap song about humanities greatest dad. Adam's fight was definitely one meant to represent that Humanity had a shot at winning
Lu Bu(the man who lost before him) was a MONSTER on the battlefield that took the combined might of multiple generals, one who'd earned the Moniker 'God of War' just to beat: hell, the first time the combined forces that would later defeat him encountered him on a battlefield, their commanders were so afraid of the damage that Lu Bu could inflict on them, they were ordered to flee ON SIGHT: and this man essentially got bodied by Thor. If Lu Bu, one of the ONLY combatants on the roster with actual proven battle skills like that lost, what was Adam, whose thing was being the first man, going to do?
Almost win was the answer, and he gave Zeus such a hard fight, that the God himself admitted if it was a different type of battle, Adam would've defeated him.
Then the greatest LOSER in history comes in and snatches the first win for humanity, the cocky bastard that Poseidon won losing ONLY because he refused to accept a human could be a threat to him, even after having BOTH OF HIS ARMS CUT OFF! Kojiro's first major win in such a long time was fully reigniting the flames of hope that Adam's fight had prevented from burning out fully, leaving sparks and embers

I'm not gonna lie, listening to this really brings a tear to my eye. This was really that good. Especially when you watch the show and know who Adam is. This song has me seriously conflicted. On one hand it’s a thing of beauty that had me on the verge of tears for the first time in years, the pain and betrayal is only matched by the feeling of acceptance that I feel from it.
