I got my first filly (6 months old for USD$75 - many, many years ago!). Since I couldn't ride her, I taught her many tricks! The best trick was "bowing," where she'd stretch one leg forward and bow on one knee. That came in handy, years later, when I wanted to ride bareback! I could ask her to bow, then flop over her back. Ask her to rise, then I'd switch to an astride/riding position. Loved that little mare!

These are great!🥰 I have a mini and a quarter horse. I am currently teaching my mini to smile , get on a pedestal, and pick up objects, the QH can smile, stand on a pedestal, bow, and lay down (only she wants to roll and not stay down for very long😂), she can pick up her foot with just a verbal word,and she can side pass away from me and towards me. I love trick training🥰😍❤️👍🏻
My horses best trick is to wait until it's rained and then go into the middle of the pasture, find the muddiest spot possible, and the roll around in that spot.
