This mod was my childhood dream come to life, I use to spend school days with mates telling over-fantasised stories of playing halo the day before. Larger battles was always something to look forward too with each installment of the game, there's just something about CE that is stylized and a perfect mix to capture that larger than life feeling. Playing through with this mod has been a blast.
I wonder if disabling friendly fire for the marines would reduce instances of accidental ramming. That's what Ruby's Rebalanced Halo 1 mod did and it works well imo
He actually set up v3 to not have friendly fire. I am in contact with him on nexus and am doing a playthrough on my channel too on legendary. It's set up so you deplete their shield when they get hit but you won't kill them and from my experience they died to friendly fire alot so he set it up so they don't kill eachother
This made me cry of nostalgia. You built the Halo I always wanted. Lots of AI helping you and lots of enemies in Halo 1. Again, I insist. Halo 1, 2 and 3 must be REMADE entirely leaving exactly the story but adding THIS type of mayhem.
I’d really go for increased range, accuracy, and overall damage for the MA5B in CE Not to mention if the marines had that advantage, it be incredible to watch them shred the covenant with well-placed 7.62x51
I will say this my biggest gripe with ce was the lack of friendly AI in the later levels. This brings some solace, not to mention fills out all of the epic maps we loved growing up. Read the recent update messed it up a bit with og aesthetic
With the 3rd player co op mod coming if you just added a halo 2 odst model in for the other two players and make it so their shields never recharge and it can be McKay and Silva

I would be so nervous with the marines… their tendency to unalive themselves and their comrades with a grenade is concerning, and I feel they would do more damage to themselves than to the enemies.
You should do a video on this Halo CE mod called SOI’S Singleplayer Adventure. It would be a very interesting Mod too showcase on you’re channel. Im loving you’re Halo mods videos I’ve only recently just started playing mods on MCC I’m loving them they are really enjoyable too play quite a decent amount of them. 🙂👍
I really like SOI'S mod. It's impressive using the battle rifle and how smooth it feels. The custom made extension of the levels to include an Elephant is very cool! I definitely want to review the mod that's for sure.

I swear to God I'm not just trying to get views shut I'm doing a full playthrough on my channel. I'm new so the first level you hear my controller but I got it sorted eventually. I am playing on legendary. Otherwise if you don't want to watch me look up massive mod v3 on here and hcekc some of the other posts out. I'm possibly going to be doing a cop run with the mod author this month if it works out

I'll be keeping up with him. Hopefully you find what your looking for. Thinking about doing a non commentary version too... haven't decided yet
It's crazy to me that this game's advances for gaming (from the practicality of right-stick aim or two-weapon limit, to the ideological format of the "sandbox" or the "30 seconds of fun") still pervade in gaming to this very day! You don't have tyrants at the government level and then free, liberty loving people at the bottom. The AAA game production conpanies that are based in the US are pretty much universally shitshows right now, and it's in no part due to arrogance in the producers themselves. But how can the producers possibly be any less arrogant than they are? After all, they're just people, and most people are arrogant, not bothering to listen to criticism even when it would make their life or product better. When one tries to pin the blame for evil on large and abstract levels of society (I.e, capitalism or socialism), it often acts as a scapegoat for reality. One can blame evil capitalism or socialism instead of accepting that the evil is actually on a more personal level, and that if one can't discipline themself to not be arrogant, they can't reasonably expect other people to not be arrogant. Humility is the ultimate virtue.
I want to see somebody make a Halo mod compatible for all versions of Halo where you got to have allied aI follow you and are given orders by you similar to what you see in the older Ghost recon games on the og xbox as well as something like enlisted squad commands lel THAT would be fucking coo ngl This mod is actually really awesome😂 tho I've always enjoyed trying to make the Marines live as long as possible and even in the part of the silent cartographer were some of them are scripted to die no matter what you do I've managed to keep them alive by shoving them deep into the facility 😂 and now I don't have to worry about it as much because there's always going to be a giant group of Marines on foot 😂 lol

I have the skill and know how to implement this in halo 2 and 3, but it will take a bit of time XD, one day maybe ill get around to doing it.

SOI is one of the classics. It's definitely fun.
