I think PTFS should add 3 key things that would make the game way more intresting:
1). Crash Machanics
2). Gear Animations
3). Custom Planes. (your own company)
Like if you think this should happen
That would literally blow up like 60% of the players’ computers, i dint think they should go over the top
Another idea would be moving/animated control surfaces (ailerons, rudder, elevator, etc.)
Also spoilers when u land would be great 👍🏻
Crash mechanics would be cool but orange himself said ''I am not going to add gear animations. They do not fit into a few aircrafts and it would be so weird to only have a few planes that has gear animations'' (sorry for bad english)

4:27 That was actually perfect. Pilots aim to land in the middle of those two boxes so that wasn't late. In Flight school they tell you to always try to put it down in between the boxes. 10/10 In my opinion.

the landing/touchdown zone is there because pilots need plenty of runway space to slow down so they mark a specific spot to land

Bruh approaches are going to be on the two thick lines so they are low. The two thick lines is there landing area is about so that's why approaches are low but it's not late if they go past it a little.

You can tell how high or low you are based off of the PAPI lights next to the runway, if you keep being too high you need to increase the descent rate in order to land on the touchdown zone.
The approaches have to be low at times because of how badly the touchdown zones are placed. There are unrealistically close to the beginning of the runway.

and the papi lights are too low. Notice that the papi lights already corrected itself when your supposed to be at minimums, It can be a bit tricky to follow but other than that, it's good.

I love the beat drop and the touch down synced together
Landing tip. The red and white lights are called PAPI lights. You can get a good glide slope if you see 2 reds and 2 whites. 4 reds are too low, 4 white is too high.

yes they are the landing tip but who ever is watching from side cannot see the flight speed if is it there like that then The rater can easily know which ratings can he give of approach of the flight landing

According to this video, this is how to get a good score:
- High approach, land in the middle or past the middle of the damn runway but have a smooth landing.
- Low approach, almost land on the grass but have a smooth touchdown

I usually do my landings with wind on.. in a B-29 with barely any fuel left after long flights. Even then its like a smooth Ryanair landing
(not the "break the passengers' neck" hard, but firm)

It was not a late approach at the 2nd SAS plane it was actually great as you should not enter where it says for example 31L and instead go bit more further

I love this video. I'm quite new to PTFS and this helps me alot. Maybe in the next one you could make a live UI for the PAPI lights? That's my suggestion. You don't have to. Anyways, great video man!
George is so good at doing BUTTER!! Almost every butter competition he gets such a high rate for his landing. In other videos he is even better.

@@iHateTH-campolicies He landed in the landing zone ( the big 2 white boxes? ), and had a perfect amount of flair. Was actually incredible to witness. My father is an ex-pilot (not commercial) and I am an aviation geek. Idk why you gotta do this
3:22 well you are lol. His touchdown was late (like SUPER late). Bad approach. Not that smooth tbh. “Not much flare” which doesn’t matter that much. Nose gear stayed in the air too long. Centreline was bad, it just looked okay cause of the camera angle.
The guy, Zzzgoble, had such a smooth landing I couldn't even tell he touched down. 0.o

On xZipper_jojox, an idea to make him do a good landing would be 1. your engine was still at maximum and you have to slow down the engine before landing, 2. Try to make it smoother.

How do I get in my plane at greater Rockford
Bruh, how do you expect them to land smoothly and within the touchdown zone (mainly the two thick rectangles) without approaching a bit low. It's not too late if they touchdown nearer the end of the touchdown zone

that “wheelie” that you don’t like is called Flaring and its pulling up lightly to avoid hard landing or damage to the gear. it also helps slow down and the tactic is very important in large airliners.
That's not what he's talking about, theres a weird feature in ptfs where if you keep pulling down your plane will do a wheelie on the front gear and the back gears lift up off the ground

George was flying emirates airline on an a380, ofc it'd be smooth buttery creamy landing

Little tip everyone: Never land a plane while going over 200 mph if you are a tiny tiny bit late while landing at the Saint Bar Airport. I accidently went over 400 mph, touchdown was very bad, not that late, but I flew off the runway, hit a hill and emergency took off the plane, I did it again accidently going 200 mph, I stopped in time because I wasen’t late at all, but I still hit the hill, then got stuck, so I deactivated my landing gear then it randomly flew into the building going over 500mph! So yea, you’d rate that a -2/10
This all happened because I forgot that I was about to go over the Saint Bar Airport when I thought it was near the Greater Rockford International Airport. So I acted like an idoit and just flew the plane all the way down instead of making a U-Turn for a smooth landing. Thats how the plane got on the runway going over 400mph.

hey, the wheelie is necessary because on the front it’s only 2 or 1 wheels and putting over 10 tones on only 1 or 2 wheels will cause the wheel/wheels to explode and then the plane will crash
Image one of the planes that are low and early when landing and an airplane is taxiing to the runway. I mean there is ATC. But I don’t think the had any in that challenge.
