No. Most of the core range is their everyday unpeated like this one. Stuff like "Peat Heart" is a different range and more limited in production. AnConc is like if Clynelish and Aran had a love child. 😺
Some heather on an HP 18, or some honeysuckle on a Linkwood? Sign me up. AnConc for days as far as I'm concerned. But also completely understanding if some of that would put someone off. Just like most ex-bourbon highlands are not for people who hate apple or pears.
Agree - Not impressed with the pallet on it. It is bit tame and yes less floral, more sherry would be more to my taste. But well not all can be Arran or Glendronach 18 :-D
@@whiskycentral the Arran 18 is amazing, one of the best whiskies I have ever had :-) I love the Glendronach 15 as well, but the old Billy Walker version of the 18 is fantastic and beats the 15 both old and new in my opinion.
I don’t mind the floral element. Glad I got one bottle before further crazy price hikes.
So many choices at the liquor stores, it helps to watch videos like this to narrow it down to a few to try.

I prefer the 15 GD to the 18. 18 had a floral note for me as well. Love Arran but haven't had the older stuff :)
