11 months later and the game is in my hands! 🙌🏼
Much quicker than a lot of other projects that I have backed.
    Looking forward to playing.

Hey Sam. I really like how informative your "should you back" video series is. The only thing I would say is that stating the game will "set you back $39" isn't accurate at all. Every campaign has shipping costs, and for UK/EU backers, there's also 20% tax to add. Together that significantly alters the price point (additional £17 on top of £31 for UK backers) and certainly is not insignificant. I suspect many others, like myself, would hope that the real cost to backers is considered when deciding whether its worth backing a game. This is especially important as when games are available later in retail, they are often heavily discounted vs MSRP, include all applicable taxes, and most online retailers offer free shipping above a certain price point.
I only say this as I often see comments from backers when the pledge manager opens not realising how high the overall cost was, or disappointment when the same game is available a few weeks after KS delivery (sometimes earlier) at a much cheaper price point.
Obviously I understand that shipping costs and taxes vary from country to country, but some acknowledgement of its impact on the overall cost is kinda necessary to help people back with confidence, especially those who aren't experienced crowdfunders - which I assume is who the series is aimed at.
This is meant more as suggestion/thoughts, and I hope you don't see this as criticism as thats not how it was intended!

I am happy to see you thought this was worth backing. I got really excited after the "Before you Play" lets play and the company looked decent, so I went ahead and backed it. The processing issue is a concern, but hopefully a one-off. Thanks for the review.

Got mine on the weekend! It's lovely! was 2 weeks earlier than expected, so it seems like they sorted out some of their delivery/scheduling issues

Fantastic video - thankyou. Many TH-camrs come across as bought lackeys to many kickstarter publishers. It's great to hear a no hype logical consideration of a campaign that's sincere, succinct & honest.
Saying that - thank god you liked it as I'd already backed this one! 😅

Thank you so much, that’s super kind. Let’s see if we both feel that way when we disagree on a campaign 😉

It's a clever concept of a planning phase, followed by the holiday itself. For someone who enjoys planning for a holiday, I can associate with that, even if my focus is less on the famous sights/sites, and more on really enjoying the culture of the place we go to.
AEG certainly a big enough board game publisher, with strong retail presence, which should give plenty of confidence, but the issues of early/double charging shows that nothing is truly a safe bet in crowdfunding. Whilst I'd probably lean towards confidence, I'd probably choose our jokey work rating of 'Gramber'.
p.s. I'm appreciating the more immediate intro, getting straight to the yes/no. The use of a delay is so overused in TV, that it's become rather annoying, so for me the move into an immediate reveal is a very positive one indeed. The reality is that it's the explanation that matters most.

I did not know that you are playing miniatures as well. Saw your profile in Instagram. I do it as well, as well as scratchbuild and painting

As a person that does live in Japan this is a hard pass for me and many I know. It is unfortunate that they leaned so heavily on theme and didnt add much to the gameplay.
Would have backed if the gameplay was stronger as then the game would see more play, and I would be more than happy to have that art all over my table.

Oh another puzzle game... With most point to win... Ouch. I like the company but this an easy skip for me.
    Thanks for the video
