Before each show, there is an opening number with the remaining groups, the Halloween one is fun
I always forget that some of their musical references are older than I realize. The "doom doom dah dah" melody they did during Oops was a nod they gave to Shawn and Boys II Men. That exact melody exists in their song, Motown Philly.

You said you also feel proud. So many of us Pentaholics see them as part of our PTX family, and like a sister watching her brothers and sister perform so beautifully, we are proud of them as a family member would be.
Seeing these performances made me feel so much closer to them 🙂

There is a Superfruit (Scott and Mitch) reacting to PTX sing off performances. It’s hilarious but you probably want to wait until you’ve seen them all.
For in between sing off performances, PopSpring 2016 is awesome. Live with good quality because it was filmed for tv, 3 original songs and evolution of Michael Jackson.

Apparently the producers wanted a clear “lead” and Scott was the obvious choice back then as Kirstie and Mitch weren’t quite confident enough (yet) to take on that role and it was basically Scott who brought them all there in the first place. That is why you see Scott take most of the leads. That said, I think they took every opportunity to highlight the other singers.
I can definitely tell Scott is getting more of the lead role here and it makes it more special when Kirstie & Mitch get to shine like on this one. But I believe they’re all incredible 💗
I think each group was required to have a “lead “ singer. Also MItch was one year behind in School from Scott and Kirstie. They had both finished one year of college. Mitch missed his high School Graduation for this show so he hadn’t really been away from home as much.
They amaze me. At 19 I cannot imagine doing this and improving every week. They were the youngest group there. I think they wanted to do well so badly. And then when they begin to believe they could win it they worked even harder. Like you I’m so proud of them
Love your reactions, Carmen! This one was just a lot of fun, and they all loved Britney's music, and it showed. I can't wait to see your reaction to the next one - #7! It is so hard to imagine that this is only the 6th time they ever sang as PTX in public. Since the Trio had been performing for years, it took them a while to allow Avi and Kevin to set the timing and beat, but it seemed to kick in, and they just get tighter every song.
Everyone is telling me that #7 is so good and now I can’t wait! 👏🏻
