It's awesome seeing new contenders coming into the market but man DJI is a hell of a juggernaut. This one would probably get me a little more excited if they put a little effort into the chassis design, lol, looks like an orange Mavic. I'm really looking forward to Skydio's X2...hope you guys get one early to poke a stick at.
It's an amazing drone! I've had the opportunity to fly it. The guy who bought it said that it has improved substantially in terms of flight balance due to firmware upgrades. It looks like a big orange flying cockroach but hell it gives that scientific industrial vibe. I'd always chose it over the DJI.
One down side of this drone and I know because I bought one for solar farm inspections is that you can't fly sideways along a string of panels in the missions which is necessary to get accurate results. If anyone knows how this can be done please let me know . It can be done in a waypoint mission by adjusting the heading angle, but not in the rectangular mission
So, I’ll try to explain. The sensor resolution is 8k, but if you shoot in 4K you can now zoom 2x without the image degrading. If you shoot in 1080p, you can shoot up to 8x lossless, because the image at 1080p is 8x smaller than the 8k sensor.

And you can switch camera's and it flies longer. You only have to buy one drone for different jobs. Big selling point I think. I like that drone
So i saw a video wjere they where able to convert fro c to f . Did you figure it out ? Thanks
You didn't mention the 10 to 15 minutes of extra flight time on the EVO 2 over the Advance.
You’re right. I will do a full comparison video soon and will make sure to highlight that fact.

just use a different app
Nice video, thanks!
How do you do lossless zoom? I’ve seen videos of doing that with Picture in Picture using thermal. Didn’t see it in the manual

What is the farmost distance that its 640T can detect?
Would you say now is the time to purchase one, they now have the controller and the price is almost half now. $4200
Yep just got mine.😎
Should have made it bigger & longer time and range. Already great as it is, just need it bigger and different design.
Is it good for inspections?
Yes, very good.
Who manufactures this drone?
Autel Robotics
TY.
ballpark price?
$6900 for the kit with standard controller. If you want the Live Deck it’s an additional $450 and the upcoming Smart Controller will be $1199.
