As far as British miniature manufacturers (and those make up 90% of the hobby) are concerned there's practically nothing worth mentioning aside from Crusades, 100 Years war and Wars of the roses happened during the period, with sporadic Mongol invasion and El Cid ranges.

Yeah, you have to really search for suitable miniatures for other periods. Also go to smaller scales for a lot of them.

I think 3D printing is starting to fill a gap there, but most stuff around is still the usual generic fantasy and various forms of scifi, cyberpunk, and modern / near future military. I think someone could potentially carve out quite a niche if they concentrated on the unfilled periods.
