You could have like custom videos where the heart isn't there and there are just pure attacks. Also if the cube dies, the video automatically jumps to a death cut scene would be ideal in the code
It's actually a very nice idea! Props to you! Heart is a little distacting. So what if: You can run a script that 1. via TH-cam's API would get a frame from the video 2. Detect heart and other objects 3. Draw everything EXCEPT the heart. (maybe opencv keypoints detector would be enough) 4. Apply collision logic and damage and everything else 5. You can also draw the whole scene with characters, death animations etc.
All I could really recommend is putting a setting where you can tweak the damage as well as things like options that add kr or remove invincibility frames. This has a lot of potential, good luck!

a good idea! im making the player able to set the heart image, but when the player is thrown upward (gravity attack like sans, etc. it will be flipped)
I think you van hide the heart in the vid if you put a black square on top of it Or some sort of ia to remove red pixels from the heart so the attacks are still visible

i made an AI that will dynamically change the box however it's not AS good (as the box cannot rotate and is a still square); still trying to figure this out :)
