The comfycush old skool is the equivalent of my favorite pair of jeans. Timeless, comfortable, wearable, attractive, looks great for most occasions, and affordable.
After always using the classics and switching to the ComfyCush, in the long run, the latter are better. You can feel the comfort, and your back and knees will thank you.
It’s not just your shoe, my cc old skools also feel noticeably narrow/tighter. I still use the same size as regular ones. Definitely need a break in especially for someone with wider feet like me. The CCs are definitely taking a beating quicker than my regular ones
Thanks so much for your support! I don't have a pair of sk8 lows, but have a pair of sk8 highs. I would say the sk8's have a wider toebox. Hope that helps!
La diferencia es de 10 dólares?. Aquí en Perú las vans Old Skool están 82.73 dólares estadounidenses, y las vans Old Skool Comfycush están 137.89 dólares estadounidenses
@@writtenbyjess A lot of people say they get blisters on the heel from the skate old skools and its making me skeptical to buy another pair, I havent really noticed anything wearing the current pair that I have so I dont really understand what people are talking about
Do you take the exact same measurement between the two pairs? and is there any difference in feel (how your feet fits in, flex, etc) thank you if you take the time to answer this. Im actually torn on getting the same size comfycush with that of my pro era. Great video!!
I have the exact same size for both pairs (8.5W). In terms of how they feel on my feet the comfycush is tighter on initial wear, but they have shaped to my foot nicely. Flex feels the same to me. I am the same size in comfycush as pro era if they helps you at all.
They are bulkier and also look bulkier, it's not a lot but I can see the difference. Style-wise i like more the originals as they are thin and look "light" on the foot, but the CCs are definitely more comfortable and light.

Totally agree!!!

If your trying to buy a good, durable, and comfortable pair of shoes go with Vans, they will last you many years and they’re far better than any Nike
Lol there’s no vans that come close to the Nike Invisible Run 3.
@@FLbryantvans aren’t a running shoe so that’s irrelevant 😂
My pinky toes hurt like hell in them
Thanks for making this informative and helpful review
No problem!! :)
Great review! Also, stoked to see the Lover vinyl in the background! Definitely a Taylor Swift album deserving of more love.
Haha, thanks so much! Love that album :)

I can't remember how long my regular Old Skools lasted. It's been about 2 years for me using the comfycush.
I've noticed that about the Authentics, too. The Comfycush version feels narrower in the toe. Still insanely comfortable, just a little different.
Very informational. Thank you, more power!
Glad it was helpful!
Great review! Thanks! Hello from the UK 😊
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by :)
just the video I needed! !~ ty for the info!
No problem!!
That Lover album ❤❤❤
Nice review btw
Thanks really nice review! Everyone makes the comfycush version to be really comfort-wise and its not (due to your reviewe)
Glad it was helpful!
How does the suede over the toes hold up to rain etc? Love your videos btw :)
Thanks so much! I wear my Vans reg and comfy cush in rain and light now and they seem to hold up pretty well considering they aren't meant for that
My feet is 24cm women size and the only pair left of Old Skool pro is 23.5 (W)
You think it's okay? Will it become comfortable in the long run?
They do work in but I’d probably go up half a size if you can.
Amazing review. Gotta ask tho, between the oldskool and sk8 low which one has the wider toebox?
Thanks so much for your support! I don't have a pair of sk8 lows, but have a pair of sk8 highs. I would say the sk8's have a wider toebox. Hope that helps!
@@writtenbyjess it was a huge help indeed! Would get myself a pair of sk8 low then. Thanks again💙
Excelente review.. Muy completa.. Gracias
Gracias!! :)

At the time of recording, it was a $10 difference. Now in Canada it is $20.
Es cierto 😪
Now that some time's passed, any update on the durability on the CC's?
I plan to do a year follow up video, but to answer your question, they are still in great condition after much wear.
my regular size is 28cm ..i want to buy this vans for the 1st time... should i buy up half size 28.5cm?
I would stick true to size.
Nice new sub here. Great information. How about the vr3 compare to comfycush 🤔...
Thanks for the sub! I’m not sure, I’ve never owned a pair before. My next purchase will be the skate old skool with popcush
Should try the skate old skools
Holy smokes! Are these new?? I will definitely try these

Hi Jess. Which are the brand of the insole do you use for your regular vans? Greetings.
I actually use custom orthotics.
Great review 👍🏻
Thank you!!
I should choose the same size as the normal old skool vans?
Yes, I would do the same size as normal old sloop vans. Maybe a half size bigger if you use orthotics.

Is the comfycush bulkier looking than the original old skools?
No, I wouldn’t say it’s bulkier looking. They look pretty similar.

❤️💕❤️💕
can quit the insole for ortophedic?
What did you mean?
@@writtenbyjess Does the template come off easily or is it glued on?
Ohh it’s somewhat glued on, but very easy to take out
can we say the comfy is less durable if you said its roughly the same materials if not the same canvas and suede
I wouldn't say it's less durable. I still wear them almost everyday and they are very durable!
Is the appearance the same in person
Pretty much exactly the same!
Regular old skool looks better or no difference i can't see. Can you tell me?
They are the same shoe just different insole really and the Comfycush is a lot lighter
Hi, did you repent? About the comfycush? The regular version is better?
I made an updated video about a month ago!
Jesus loves you nice video
