Ha,ha......"won't impress anyone over 50" Well, I'm well into my 70's and mine impresses when I want it to! i loved my previous 430 bhp Impreza but the RS is. with the mods I've done, including MSD420, is a step up. When asked by anyone who obviously has little interest in performance cars, what car I drive, I can say - "just a grey Ford Focus"

Surprised you find the styling outlandish and ott. Most haters on pistonheads etc complain that it looked too subtle and not "full on" enough but you say the opposite, they really can't win.

Owned a magnetic grey one like this since 2016, cheap to insure and cheap to service (bought a 10yr Ford servicing package). Only downsides are the teeny tiny petrol tank about the size of a mouse bladder coupled to the thirst for petrol (averages in the mid-high 20s mpg). I have an FPM375 map which is enough power for me, but interested in this 400+. Massively fun to drive (pivoting is spot on), but if I have a criticism (beyond the subjective looks) it’s the electronic feel of the drive compared to the more manual/mechanical feel of my old Scoob or the new GR Yaris.

Cruel! But funny as! Thank you. RS owners everywhere unite! How to win friends and influence Ford fans! That said correct me if i am wrong, going up in value rapidly. Like an ASBO with extra sentencing, yet is a future classic. Would be interesting to get your review of new Focus ST. Still laughing! Thank you.
