Just booked 3 weeks to Manila from Canada in Nov 2023. Always go to Thailand or Bali. Nervous as I know so little about Philippines but we have time to learn. The people I know first hand are amazing
Awesome! I hope you enjoy your trip, I’ve been around Indonesia and Thailand but Philippines is my favourite because it’s not overly populated by tourists so you get a proper feeling of life there…but I’m biased cus I lived there for 10 years and my moms Filipino😆 Angie (other welcome abroad creator) is Hungarian and loved the Philippines :) Everyone speaks English in the Philippines too, so a lot easier to travel around than many other countries. I’d suggest going to BGC for the best looking city, which is near a Venice canal Mall (I will upload a video soon) and Bohol, Boracay or Palawan for scenery. Palawan and Boracay are more touristy…but Bohol is the easiest to get to, and has more unique activities such as swimming with whale sharks, chocolate hills and Tarsiers Also the Philippines has the biggest malls in the world outside of China and they’re really fancy! Another advice is get the Grab app for taxis (it’s like Uber) or only choose the Meter option in taxis so it’s cheaper Long reply but hopefully it’s helpful☺️ Pls give us an update of how it went in November 😊
A lots of western bloggers watch their video so you will know about where to go regarding Philippines…the best place to see Cebu Boracay Palawan n Bohol for Beaches…if you want country side Forestry Davao with beaches as well…
Hi there, Thanks for watching! We are so happy with all the views we are getting across our new channel so suddenly :) It would mean so much to us if you could drop a Like :) As you may have noticed, the camera quality is not as good in comparison to our other videos...this is because it was filmed on a Gopro strapped to my chest. We did not film with a gimbal because this trip was before we decided to make a youtube video on it :) Soon we are releasing a similar video, but with much higher quality camera work because we used a better camera stabilizer (much like the Garden centre video). So please subscribe so you don't miss out on our Henann Resort tour and review! NOTE: Welcome Abroad owns all rights to the footage, we were not paid to post this.
Brilliant resort! And very well structured description, Subscribbed! I also enjoyed your Henann tour, it helped me choose between resorts (I stayed at both in the end thanks to ur channel!!!!)
Nice to see hotel tours like this, it helps me decide which hotel to stay. Definitely better than looking at photos. I can have a feel of what the hotel is like.
Hi, Yes the beach is very clean, they rake the sand every morning so anything that washes up on the beach overnight is cleared. On the drone shot, the black part in the water is actually plants and coral which looks nice in person. The water is very clear but it looks different on camera. There are nice restaurants at Moadto Mall only 10min walk away, we filmed this in our latest video if you wanna check it out th-cam.com/video/Ca_sJXBGXmk/w-d-xo.html Bellevue serves good food and has Buffets every night with many different choices. Other than that you will have to catch a taxi to go to other restaurants…but there are many in Panglao Feel free to ask more questions, Hope this helps :)
Also, if you’re planning on going to Bohol, and prefer somewhere near more restaurants, Henann resort is my favourite resort. It has 3 restaurants and is near popular areas so there are plenty of food options. We showed Drone shots of Henann in our first video… and This Friday we will be Releasing a Henann Bohol resort tour, so stay tuned😊
I'm up for a month's vacation - after 3 years. Bohol is definitely in my itinerary, and this place looks fantastic. Thanks guys, I'll be checking this out. Hope you have some details in your description page.
Thank you for your kind comment! we will also be uploading a tour of Henann Beach Resort (the biggest 5-star resort in Bohol) by next Friday 😊 we already posted snippets of Henann in our Drone Montage: th-cam.com/video/y3EZ-yeGqyk/w-d-xo.html So stay tuned! 😄
Nice video of the hotel, amenities, beach, and the local area. We will be staying here in December. By the way what is the disctance or how far is the hotel to Alona beach?
Thank you! The resort is only 15min drive from Alona beach. We filmed a resort along this beach too - th-cam.com/video/y2HqglkgR68/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xd1gaxgxPfAQMT6u Salamat! 🙏 🇵🇭 Hope you have a great trip!

Hi, they’re both really good but for different reasons. Both are around 10min from the airport but Bellevue is more isolated. Apart from Moadto Strip mall, there is not much near it. Positives: secluded and private beach. The beach is also very shallow and the water is very calm. There is the nice pontoon to walk on and free canoeing 🛶 - the basic room is larger than hennans and you are guaranteed a sea view room. Negatives: only has 1 small pool and not much shade on the beach. Henann positives: It is along the famous Alona beach. It is not a private beach so you can walk along and find other food venues and it is very lively at night. Also outside the resort there is a lot of shops since it is in a town. (Has Jolliebee and McDonalds). - so many pools, so much seating, way more than Bellevue. There are pool bars in every pool and there is sooo much space. The beach also has some coconut trees 🌴 so it is shady. There is also way more food options and imo better food. Beach: it is a very nice beach. But it gets deeper quickly so not too much shallow areas Negative: you have to pay extra to use the gym and there is many vendors on the beach trying to sell you things so it can get annoying. So in conclusion it depends on what you want to do. Bellevue has a quieter beach if you like that and slightly better sand and more beach area. The sea is easier to swim in becuase it is has less waves and is not deep unless you go really far out. Henann is better if you prefer more things to do, more food, nice night life, and way better pools and seating areas. The breakfast buffet at Henann is sooo good, one of the best I’ve been at. Bellevue is good but not at all as good as Henann. (Please note there is Henann and Henann Tawala which is not the same). Hope that helps! Pls feel free to ask more questions! What we did was stay at both hotels because we didn’t decide. But we slightly preferred Henann
there is 3 sections of the Pool, there is a kiddy shallow section thats only like 2 feet, then theres the normal part of the pool which is around 4 feet. There is also a small section of the Pool which is 12 feet deep! it is clearly marked with a floating barrier. Beware however as it is a sudden drop. There was always a lifeguard on duty when we stayed, thanks for watching 😊🥰 Not far from here there is Henann Hotel too which is of similar price, but has move pools if you prefer the pool to the sea, we posted a video of it on our Channel💝
Hi there 👋 We are just a travel channel who film our vacations and share the beautiful scenery on TH-cam. So we don’t work for Bellevue😅 When we went it cost around 12,000php per night. I’m from Bohol but now resides outside of the country. Last summer we visited and stayed at the hotel . It’s a beautiful place , however it’s not true that you can see the view of the chocolate hills from the distance . Please don’t tell lies in your vlog. Thank you.
Hi avelino, You can actually see the chocolate hills though. Clear to see if you climb to the viewing point and look across the water to the right. Only visible on a clear day but If you email us I can send you a picture😆next time you go you can check it out Thanks for watchin
I can see the chocolate hills from Bellevue @anvelinosalera4580 it is visible if you look in the direction between Loon and Maribojoc, chocolate hills is a big area, if you look closely you can see it from most places when stationed on the northern side of Panglao on a sunny day. It’s the reason I bought a house here (I am a cartographer & geomorphologist, so I do a lot of research on it)
