- Welcome to Ninh Bình Vietnam! This was one of our absolute favourite days in Vietnam (and was also our last day!). We went inland in Vietnam to an area called Ninh Bình.
We went on a tour of Ninh Binh and started off at Mua Caves (Hang Múa). We started off by venturing into the cave and eventually up to the top of the of the mountain, nearly 500 steps where the views are incredible.
After that we went to Tam Cốc where we went on a boat tour down the river and into three caves. Along the way you see spectacular views of limestone cliffs. It is absolutely spectacular and a must-do while in Vietnam.
Lastly we went and visited two nearby Buddhist temples including on called Thai Vi.

WOW! Quietly, with emphasis. This video definitely showed the grandeur of this country. I know you need to express verbally all the beauty of what you’re filming, but even thru the camera lens I often felt almost speechless at the beauty. It almost needed silence to take it all in. From little Nova Scotia with all its own unique beauty, we say, Thank You ,for this view of a part of our world we may never get to experience as you have. Thank You for allowing us to see this thru your eyes. Thank You for what you do! Like you expressed leaving would be sad. I’m am very glad you will make the opportunity to return to this beautiful place.

Now you know how Vietnamese keep in shape with many of them rarely going to the gym. Who needs gym when you can hike and view beautiful ... magnificent scenery!!!
Vietnamese don’t need gyms. The get up early and go to the beach ever morning. Also there parks are located with exercise machine’s.
From a simple equipment to harder ones. It’s exercise parks basically everywhere.
Hope to have the chance to visit again. Beyond beautiful 🤩
Wow .. just loved the whole Vietnam 🇻🇳 series 🙏.. I ❤️ Vietnam.. been 3 times , and I can't wait to get back.. we stayed in an old hotel in Ninh Binh.. and when the guy on the desk went off for his 2 hour lunch with his mates .. he left all the guests room keys on the front desk .. 🤔😂.. only in Vietnam🇻🇳🌺🌿❤️❤️

Wow you're guys quite fit to climb up to the lookout of the mountain in a humid weather. When I was a kid living in the nearby province Nam Định in the summer of 1982, I didn't have a chance to visit this place. The temple in Ninh Bình is the one that my Dad and my grandmother had visited in 1940s and 50s in every annual pilgrimage by boat from Hải Hậu Nam Định.

Ninh Binh was the location where Hollywood shot the movie “ King Kong : Skull Island “ with Samuel Jackson. The nature there is still intact. It’s a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. Have fun and enjoy the scenery. Take care and stay safe !

There are so many more beautiful spots here to check-out like Phu Quoc Island , the Mekong Delta , Huê , Phong-Nha-Ke Bang , Ha Giang , Sapa , Ban Gioc waterfalls ( at the border between Vietnam and China , similar to Niagara Falls in Canada and the US ) , Ba Bê lake ( the Lake Louise of VN ) , Cat Ba island , Con Dao island , etc...

This place is really beautiful ! I was there 5 years ago and you guys did a great job exploring this amazing country. I’m so glad that Asia is starting to open after the pandemic !!!

My girlfriend and I went to Nihn Binh and loved it. Stayed in a really cool place with little cabins. Also went on one of these rowing tours, checking out some of the King Kong filming locations. Incredibly beautiful place.

Lovely video, you guys picked the right time and day for this trip .....usually Ninh Binh was jam packed of tourists, or you ride the boat under the extreme sun. John Goodman from Roseanne took this boat trip years ago and he also said Vietnam was magical ....
If you guys return to Vietnam try new places like Tam Dao, it's a high station French hill resort town near Hanoi, there's not a lot of videos on Tam Dao by tourists and even Vietnamese.......... for beaches, visit Tuy Hoa and Qui Nhon, they're just beautiful as Nha Trang but less tourists, very quiet, you get the beaches all to yourselves.
-Tam biet- is temporary goodbye.... -Vinh biet- is forever goodbye ...... See you guys again, have a safe future trips

I've been to Vietnam twice and cannot believe I missed Ninh Bhinh! I blame my Vietnamese friend for not telling me about it! Oh well..a reason for visit #3. Was there a dragon statue at the top if the mountain? And what exercise for your rower..who was not a young man! Hopefully you guys make a return visit and check out the South. Lots at Ho Chih Minh City.
Ninh Binh and Hoi An were definitely our favourites. You have to see this place TT! There is a dragon statue at the top but it was blocked off and the rain started to come down on us haha. We had to go back down - Trevor
Ninh Binh is so pretty! Glad you guys got to go there. When we did that tour it was so HOT! We didn't climb the mountain, but we probably would have passed out if we did 😅

Many thanks. My wife was born in Ninh Binh 72 years ago, very close to Tam Coc cave (around 4km direct line). We planned to visit her birthplace early 2020 then Covid-19 came !
