The 1500m race starts at 2:10 and the 3000m starts at 9:10. Due to poor camera work, a major part of the 3000m race was not showed because women's shot put in the pentathlon was filmed instead. This shot put break is between 11:50 and 14:05.
Had your only interest not been Ingebrigsten, you might have enjoyed the shot interlude; I thought it was a good option. Would it be helpful to athletes doubling up, to put them in the earliest heat in their first event and the last heat for their second event?
@@archiewoosung5062 I see your point and I dont have anything against shot put, but the focus and the point of this video was to show the 3000m race. Personally, I dont mind to see some shot put but people who watch this video might not be interested. I dont know, if you run in first heat and the last heat you will get more rest between the races, however its just a matter of maybe 20-30 minutes. I dont know how much that affects the performance or if you simply want the races done as quickly as possible.
and, especially nowadays, these big championship races often end up being slow and tactical for the first few laps at least, unless someone takes it on. But yeah, in my mind cracking a sub-8 minute clocking in a 3000 is definitely at least national level.

What happened in the finals?
13:00 lovely reaction 😇
The best Jacob Ingebrigtsen
Han påminner Paavo Nurmi som vann 2 olympiska guldmedaljer inom 60 minuter.
Og ka skjedde i finale? Nokon snakke Norsk har?
3 mouths without permission to train and videos like this appear every day..
Faster than sanik tbh
great
yeet
This is 30 seconds slower than wr.... isnt it very bad for a not so long distance such as the 3000m?
7.51 is a good time for a qualifying heat. The 3000m world record is also one of the most insane records in athletics
Erik B Thank you! I know this guys arent “very bad”, just was curious
@@gregorio8827 understandable!

The Norwegian is a lot younger than the record holder..
