having my 4th one in 20 years this week, The day before pre is the hardest part.LOL The procedure is just another day for the professionals. I've had polyps removed twice in the first two test. My last one was 6 years ago and I had none. Praying for good results trip too at 71 years old. Please have your tests when time. Colon cancer has few if any symptoms.
Had mine last week. The prep was ok for me. All clear liquids 24 hours before. I was initially terrified however all went well. The procedure only took 11 minutes & the doctor said no polyps found 🙏.
I just read they do a "digital" exam before putting the probe in... is that true, that part makes me want to check out... I could stand it with a doctor, but not with a bunch of nurses watching
If the doctor eventually advise you that you have colon cancer, please think again of this comment. The screening is also there to remove polyp that can grow up in cancer so it's absolutely necessary if you want to prevent cancer. So it'S a yes for me, prefer the exam and remove polyps instead of being to late and it's now tumor.

They don’t usually knock you out for it in the UK as not really needed 🙂

Many people wonder, “Can you eat gummy bears before a colonoscopy?”
Not red or purple ones
No thank you. Nobody will ever scam me into this unnecessary procedure. Nothing but a major money maker for drs.
