People may dislikes her cos the way she spoken or lack of images, but rarely has a mp like her. She is a rare mp who truy went into the resident area and serve people with heart. She will be missed, definately.

As a former Khatib resident, I know one cannot miss her sitting at the kopi shop every weekend morning often with residents coming to her table with their bills or other matters or just to say hello. When there's a funeral, it's common to see a wreath from her or when there's a resident BBQ she engages everyone in a very warm and friendly fashion. It's not difficult to observe that she has her ears on the ground ..
She lacks image but she's very grounded and she takes care of everyday issues of residents. I wish she was my mp

Yeah, we need more people like her and people like Josephine Teo and ivan Lim should certainly never be allowed to join the PAP, or any opposition party

Interviewed her as part of my school project and she is honestly the most helpful person I’ve ever met even though she’s so so busy 😭 she really has the heart for Singaporeans and is willing to fight for us ❤️ I’ll always miss you my dear MP ❤️😭

am not A PAP person...but I respect her commitment to her residents..I think we dun need beautiful n echo talks in partliament, we need a true MP to speed the true n flight for weaker group...to enhance their day to day life ..for the last 15 years am not seeing Govert MP except this lady...many PAP appointed MPs lost touch in the ground.they work on items that are levels above the general common Singaporean needs....what we worried are the escalating cost of living, medical costs in Singapore....the immediate issues that we r burden with...every average Singaporean hv to work so hard just to cover the day to day expenses...these elites dun know most of them holding high post/salary..they dun understand low income group...till now we hv cleaner n helpers earning

She is a real MP for many other MP to learn n follow , care about residents..
For many years, thought she's just another bootlicker and yes woman. Was very wrong and there"s cause to apologise. After knowing her through videos and feedback, realised she's one of the most effective MPs ever. Lucky to have chance to bump into her during one of her frequent walkabouts. A really warm and kind hearted person. Humble and down to earth, its hard to find honest to goodness MPs these days, touching the hearts and dedicated to serving residents well. Will be a great loss to Yishun South residents.
She's actually one of the MP in the area I stay, have not seen her personally but my parents told me that she is a very nice lady. Sad to hear that she is retiring. I wish the best for her!

Josephine Teo caused the lockdown (CB) and the resulting downturn, along with treating every foreign worker in a dorm like a piece of shit. Vote her out!

Although she may joke around in parliament, she is a down to the earth kind of person, and a caring MP. Now that she is gone, I would have less incentive to vote for the PAP, and in my opinion would rather give PSP the chance to come into nee soon GRC.

I am very proud that MP Ah Hua was in my GRC... in fact i feel sad when my area suddenly becomes Sembawang GRC during GE 2015.. Then i shift house..coincidentally. my house is in Nee Soon GRC again.. now GE 2020.. Sad again to hear MP Ah Hua retires from politics. Very effective MP and responds immediately to residents' need! Cheers!
Sad to see her go, along with some of the other retiring MPs. She always kept it colourful and her residents seem to love her. I heard that she wanted to return the blue recycling bins because the recycling rate in her area is very high, kudos to her, but NEA/MEWR said she can't. While people like to make fun of her, it's hard to fault her for her dedication to her residents.
I think out of the PAP MP she is the only one that i remember
she always reply on the same day whenever my father email her any complains 👍🏻👍🏻

Nice lady with a sense of humour
Some of her comments are quite weird but some are constructive. I like the one which she fought for the earlier reopen of Chinese medicine shops and TCM clinics.

She is someone who is a good example of how to be an MP and taking care of her/his turf.. Hope we can have more. TQ for your hard work. Hope Social organizations out there get her on board.
Check out her history. I'm impressed. The tough childhood and the society where she grew up in, and the choices she made in tough circumstances that made her who she is today, is amazing. No matter where she goes, she will have the capacity to grow the organisation /workplace.

I noted alot of supporters here for our "nice flower" auntie, and one of her most outstanding story was the grandmother tale from her previous "si kui kia and ah kong" episode. Also, I really like her quote - "You Will Never Walk Alone" - because in reality "NO PUPPY MASTERS" will walk with you after they get your VOTES!!! They will desert you until the next GE and then will come back and walk with you and hold your hands again! A Process repeated every 5 years!

She does listen and respond to my emails, that's what the PAP has been training their members to do. I have stayed in Holland, Clementi, Sembawang and Yishun, so far the PAPs had been managing their zone very well.👍

This is the first time, I wrote a comment in public. I'm kind of thinking how many PAP MP have a fundamental "Heart and Drive" like her. How about the Opposition? Especially those of success status in public and private life?
My vote will be to those who can help me, the ward, and the country.
Generally, my humble opinion is that PAP is a credible Party (proven), but over the years complacency set in. Seem like more creditable(profile) citizens are joining opposition parties these days. Why? At least this appears to me.
Well, as a voter. I have decided where my one vote goes. I do hope Singaporean will considered carefully their vote, as each vote count. I am not preaching to vote on whichever party. I just wanted to voice my opinion.

Sister Lee is a very "talented engineer" from Malaysia. Other than steel and concrete she's much at ease in dealing with rats and snakes. Maybe after politics, she can be appointed as an advisor to the Singapore Zoo to deal with more aggressive animals that I am sure she will find it equally fulfilling.
People may find what she said is funny but that is really the voice of the citizens.the rest are talking like computer
