Did you set the preload prior to installing the BP51? The instructions give you a chart on where your preload shoild be adjusted to whether your stock or younhave additional weight like from a front bumper and or front bumper and winch?
Great comment! When one of our Tacomas upgraded to 2.5 Fox, we transferred these BP-51s to Judy. Judy now has a front bumper with winch so the settings stayed the same. T this is a great point you brought up, PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO SET YOUR PRELOAD EVERYONE. Thank you Stephen.
17” RR7s with Falcon AT3W. Cab relocate and the adjustable UCA with the lift. Some cutting and hammering. Making a video on it as well, but I have a few videos before it.
Great question, both were great. The Bilstein is very underrated and did very well. BP-51 took the lead only in adjustability, but I have not found the need to adjust it often and the stick settings for the Bilstein is pretty dialed in already but a little on the softer side than how I prefer. I would be happy with both, but on the rocks at a 30 degree slanted road, less cabin movement helps my confidence w the BP-51, or you can just go a little slower with the Bilstein and be fine.
It’s great! The adjustability gives me confidence in the purchase and trails, however cheaper suspension should work well too as long as your not flooring it for speeding off road stuff.

What is the preload on you ome bp-51
Deng good question. Not sure but 12 revolutions abouts.
What wheel and tire setup are you running with the OME lift? Did you do a cab mount chop to fit the 35s?
