Sing (2016) Dapper Koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Facing the crumbling of his life's ambition, he takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world's greatest singing competition. Five contestants emerge: a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine.

I love how all the characters in the Sing movies are their own people and not just singers
It makes them so much more well rounded and actually makes u care about them

Scary thing: If it weren’t for the singing competition, Johnny probably would’ve gone through with the robbery and ended up in jail with his father.

Why would the heist fail? Literally his fault his dad and gang were jailed because he had his own business to attend.
The scene when Johnny's father understands his talent is touching. It also gets father and son closer.

I love the rocky relationship between father and son which gets better later on. The lesson is that it's OK that an offspring isn't like their parents, and they should be supportive of their offspring's choices, even though they still need your help at times.
