As someone of similar size to him, I appreciate Coop mentioning grip comfort. I like not wasting money on blasters that aren't comfortable. I shouldn't have to mod the grip to make it usable.
He probably isn't to be honest, it's a rival grip, so it's refined and textured like all the others

This is one I'll definitely be picking up at full price, once I can find them on store shelves.
Now that you mention it, I can kinda see it looking like a Needler, but to me it looks more like an oversized "similar-to-but-legally-distinct-from" version of Tracer's pistols from Overwatch.
Also if there's not a repaint / minor reshell of this blaster named "Sunstreaker" I will be mildly disappointed :P

@@Iazibones Seems like a really great guy. Really knows his shit, makes good videos, has been around long enough to have videos about really old blasters (many of them before my time), and I'd put him third.
Drac is a bit too self congratulatory and has missed the mark on a few things. But he really knows his shit as well. Started talking about his shop a bit too much lately, but someone I've watched since pretty much I got into Nerf blasters.
Dr Flux looks like a good up and coming one to watch out for.

@@Iazibones Dr Flux just celebrated his one year anniversary on TH-cam. He shows up in some of Walcom's videos if I recall correctly. Does quite in depth videos.
Drac does have a lot of good stuff, but that video Coop did years ago when Drac and he exchanged customized blasters then roasted each other in the other's style was too spot on. He's too ready to do a quick review before he has the time to learn what the blaster does. Coop does go a bit overboard with his testing, but it means he's thorough. That means a lot when you're "wasting" money on toys.

This has to be one of the best looking Nerf blasters ever released. I love it. The form factor, the color scheme, everything.

I have 3 things to say about this,
1) Fantastic review man, this is some great stuff
2) This thing reminds me of the Dart Tag Quick 16 a lot, which is great because dart tag was awesome
3) The effect of the curve is going to be more prominent at sea level then its going to be at higher altitude, so people should think about that.

Most Rival blasters I've owned with the exception of the Hera have curved the shot without me wanting it to.
I really want to shell mod this thing to look like a Halo needler

I definitely will be getting one of these at some point. Maybe even a second, to shove on a proton pack. Seems like a really fun blaster! Wish it was top prime, surprisingly.

Wow, $25? That's surprisingly solid value. I'm conflicted over the shell; it looks futuristic, but in a very unconventional way. I'm pretty sure I like it, but it's a bit of a strange one. Regardless, I'm genuinely impressed with the price for a Rival blaster of this caliber and polish.

Man, is anyone else thinking that would look frickin' *sweet* as a pistol if it lost the stock and replaced the banana-type mag with a vector style?
Yeah, I see what they were going for but the look of a vector would definitely look great.
I'm actually mulling over picking one up and blending it with a chaos. Though its a bit hard to justify giving money to hasbro these days, especially considering I don't use rival in my loadout.

This is almost like redemption for nerf cool new gimmicks, creative design, works pretty well, no false advertising, and reasonable prices 25 usd for this thing that's a great price. Let's just hope nerf keeps tgis up

Awesome video, like always. As far as curving your shots, we play at an indoor parkur gym and there is a guy that has a rival nemesis that , for some reason, curves down and it can decimate the other team if they aren't expecting it. There is a video on the gym owners channel (ALDOSS) of it in use and if someone is behind cover, but not particularly close to the cover , he just aims to miss the cover and the other person is left wondering how or where they got hit from. I speak from experience on this topic and it can be maddening. Keep up the good work and can't wait for the next video.
I used to watch those live streams and always wanted to drive up to play with you guys but it’s like 5 hours from me. Maybe one day when this is all over...

Ah, cool, they took inspiration from the spring in the x-shot line of rival like blasters. It's a really convenient and efficient system.

I don’t know if there is anything out there like this, but would love to have a flywheel rival sidearm.
I haven’t been the biggest fan of what nerf has been churning out as of late and I would likely never use the “curve feature” but I might just get one of these simply because of the design aesthetic.
Ahh this reminds me of my old quick 16, but its like the prodigy grandchild who is also bolt action and rival
I wonder if the Dart Zone Spectrum's foregrip would be compatible after some cutting of course.

Im having the feeling that hasbro is testing the water for halo blasters, since this one has features both in looks aswel as functionality wich have links to weapons from the covenant. and the needler had similar curve to shots when target locked, does it have slamfire?
Its refreshing to see something unique and different from Hasbro. It has a cool gimmick and its fairly priced!
The internal banana mag reminds me of the old nerf guns that had Velcro tipped darts, wanna say it the gun was the quick 16

does the bolt retract back like the helios or do you have to manually push it back. didn't xshot do the same thing with the internal mag on their meteor and orbit blasters.
