Some fun theories
1. The red ribbon and red lines they draw on each other's fingers symbolize the red thread of fate. This means that people are destined to be soulmates regardless of place, time or circumstances.
2. Only Mina and Jeong watched the storm from the window because they were the ones who had been on hiatus. At the beginning of the scene, Mina saw a storm but smiled again when she saw the members.
3. The boat inside always feels warm even though there is a storm outside, which means that no matter how hard it is, they always feel warm and at home in each other's company. I think the boat symbolizes their journey where even though the storm hit them they were still able to get through it and reach a bright day because of each other.
4. Jihyo stands at the front of the boat because she is the leader.

She was on such a long hiatus with her disc injury. She got so many hate comments for the cortisol side effects and weight gain, to the point that people said that the group would be better off without her.
And here is Twice telling her: "YOU ARE OUR LIGHT. YOU SHOW US THE WAY. YOU KEEP US SAFE."
If that doesn't show you the bond that the members have, nothing will.
Mina, who had been left below deck, went up and the nine people on board sailed away again. Even though Mina had a period of inactivity, she still mustered up the courage to step out into the world again with her 8 sisters who had been waiting for so long. They continue their journey to explore the sea with Mina.

First and foremost, I GOT YOU is directly about TWICE. Jihyo had said that it is about their friendship, the theme of the album could also be that. Incredibly wholesome.
But, I love the fact that this song can be interpreted in different ways by many people.
I love when you can up multiple meanings to a song! But it's absolutely beautiful that it's essentially a love letter to their friendship
Jihyo did say in her birthday live is that this album is a story about the 9 of them and their relationship over the years (hence the album name "With You-th") but she also said that I Got You is definitely their story and their relationship and also all of them love this track so much that they wanted it to be the title track ❤

Feel special is a really important song for the girls, it's about them and their friendship the same way I got you is but instead of them having a hard time, this is them being happy and knowing that despite what happens, they had each other

Such meaning behind Mina & Jeongyeon looking out at the storm because of their hiatuses. Then, Jeongyeon being the lighthouse guiding the girls thru the storm? I legit cried. I absolutely love these girls. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
you're not wrong about it being basically a love song of it to each other ! the mv follows more about the concept of the "red string of fate" that can be seen all throughout the video (wrapped around their pinkies, surrounding each other) as it basically indicates that, yes! the twice members are soulmates that were destined to find one another :) i also kinda think that the mv centers more on mina and jeongyeon considering they were the two who went on hiatus for a bit due to mental health issues/injuries. the song's message is similar to feel special, as they remind each other that no matter how hard things get (metaphor in the mv was the storm), they will always have the 9 of them together and will catch the other whenever they fall

i woke up at 6am to watch the MV and i cried😭 this is truly the most beautiful twice MV ever and the lyrics are so precious to us

@@BexaReactsyeah, being a once since 2018 i had MANY MANY times where i cried and not always happt tears (mina and jeongyeon hiatus..) but this song is so beautiful and it’s basically a celebration of the members’ friendship and how they’ve been through a lot of things on their journey but still managed to remain strong because they’ve got each other❤ this song kinda has the same meaning as feel special
I feel like this sort of concept is SUPER hard to do properly and one of the only groups that could do it proper is Twice simply because it can easily come off as sort of, not GENUINE if done impersonally
but with Twice you can just FEEL that it's 100% genuine (not even factoring the literal YEARS of footage that solidifies their bond) and thats what I think really makes this song hit a lot of people emotionally
This song is basically about 'I can weather any storm, as long as I'm with you' which is such a personal thing for Twice it's really amazing :)
My initial reaction for this mv is Huhuhuhuhuhu crying! So happy for ONCE x TWICE ! Solid friendship, TWICE embodies that surviving the storm!

The SanaYeon incident ( when sana was taking a shower and ended up sleeping under the shower and nayeon thought it was strange that she was taking so long and so she managed to get into the bathroom and saw naked sana basically drowning in the water and woke her up quickly, she could have died, They both say that Sana could have died that day if Nayeon hadn't arrived and stopped her, Sana keeps saying that Nayeon saved her)
I'm completely in love with the song, the video, the visuals, the vocals, everything. They make me fall in love with them more and more every day, oh my god, Twice seriously looks like a black hole, but a black hole in a good way. Jeong and mina watching out the window & seeing darkness is a metaphor for their uncertain feelings during their own health breaks. But just as the lyrics say, the members light up the flares even if theyre miles apart. Without a doubt, theyll make it thru cos they always got each other

I don't know but it's emotional when Mina starts the MV with her looking at the chaos outside the boat then looking at the members like that, then followed by Jeongyeon lines with "When I'm walking into the darkness, I know you'll be right there, lighting up the flares"

idk but it made me think of mina's hiatus, her doubting if she could come back, and jihyo telling her not to worry bc they'll go through it together as a group

Still a baby ONCE, the symbolism in the song, like all Twice songs is deep. It's definitely about fate when they put their hands together after you see Mina writing on Tzuyu's little finger you can see they all have the mark on the little finger which is where the red line of fate connects you. The SHIP itself is the ship that is Twice and the cabin is the safe place that is their love for each other. Mina and Jeongyeon are the focus of this song but I have a slightly different take. Mina is looking out at the storm but shows little concern because she knows she's safe within the love of her members (she was always coming back just needed time to deal with Sharon) and Jeongyeon is on the lighthouse with binoculars keeping an eye on her girls as she always has especially Mina (JeongMi was a thing in Sixteen long before MiChaeng). How about this for a crazy thought, they have a shot of just the water nothing else in frame, maybe a sign of a very long voyage (most will say life but give me a sec lol), I say it's them going to a new place a new safe harbor. The storm is their time in K-pop (here it comes) and the new safe harbor is western pop. Here me out Kpop is for the young kids Twice knows this they have out grown it. Time has come to take on the biggest obstacle yet and why not, did you notice the song is in English AGAIN (Moonlight Sunrise oh didn't they win an award for that one, just saying). Twice is at their best when faced with unsurmountable odds, can't wait to hear this album. Oh yea Happy Birthday love the candy bong got mine for my birthday too but I added my first concert to my gift, Vegas here I come. OT9 forever.

Personally I thought this was OK. But then again, their pre-debut and title tracks songs aren't among my favorite Twice songs. IMO, Twice b-sides are among the best in the industry and are my favorite Twice songs. Looking forward to hearing the other songs on this album.
