The Korean word for "Whistle" is Hwiparam, R's tend to be pronounced more like a D sound to the English ear. So in the hook the sort of emphasize the "Hwi" and then repeat the "Param" so saying the word whistle but also to an English ear almost sounds like they say "We Padam, padam, papdam." the whole hook just creates a nice sound for the ear to a diverse audience. I love the way many Korean writers have fun with language and play around with it in their music.
