"KANAKO", is a Visayan dialect from Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines, where Ken hails & it means, "For Me or To Me" in English. The song is Ken's or Felip's way of being grateful to his fans or supporters & especially to God for being there for him through thick & thin, in good times & in bad, come hell or high waters. It's actually a tribute song to the Lord & his followers who are around protecting & supporting him, as always. Felip or Ken Suson is a thoughtful & grateful person, indeed, just as his song, Kanako entails or suggests. my native language is Tagalog. The only words I understand were kasingkasing and gigugma... never thought that Bisayan dialect could be this good.
