Honestly why can't the squatters who break into these old places live cleanly? You would be able to live quite well with a roof over your head if these freakin junkies and gutter graffiti wannabes didn't wreck these places!! It's such a shame with so many homeless families in Australia that these places aren't used to provide these poor families with a home before these idiots trash them!!
This house is adorable! I love the curved front windows, beautiful dark wood, and that rose pink tile in the bath and the little corner cupboard in there. Thanks for sharing:)
Places like this will always frustrate me to no end. There are lots of families and single parents who’d love to have some of these things donated to them. That and I truly hate the way humans waste things. Call me anytime day or night and I’ll sort through it all and remove it for free.
Looks like the previous occupant was an old timer who died or moved out. The bathroom has railings installed, that's one of the clues. I once inspected an old 110 year old house that looked like it wasn't renovated since it was built, except for a modern 70s era bathroom. The kitchen had the orignal large hood for coal/wood fired stoves & those vintage Early Kooka gas stoves. The backyard even had stables for horses. This was in Carlton North
@@MuiTube Australian house prices are inaccessible for so many. In the US, if a property does not have it's property taxes paid after three years....auction. Not possible for someone to go to the courthouse to find delinquent tax properties such as this one and get it for a song? Art Deco is my favorite and getting an affordable art deco in/near Melbourne would be JACKPOT!
@@Edgar-Friendly Some areas of Melb have more surviving Art Deco than others. The south & southeast parts plus East Melbourne have a lot of good examples. But they're expensive. Northern suburbs... very few.
In the second house the tub that was full of the yellow water probably wasn’t urine because if it was it would’ve gone all white on the rim, or moulded, unless it’s airtight or was done very recently I wouldn’t think it’s urine

4:25 ''I did not expect this!" What - the Girl and all her stuff !? lol.
The style is Streamline Moderne, came right at the end/ after Art Deco. Maybe this was build in the early to mid 30s
Just learned the distinction in another video.

Tell that to an addict that doesn't own the property and rips cones in the dark.

Where are these places i wanna buy them
Manningham road Bulleen
Sold in 2015 $1.75m. Realestate.com
Dang they are gorgeous
Any idea why they were abandoned? That second house still looks in good nick!
Probably someone elderly (the bathtub with rails) without relatives died.
The land was sold as a package deal. So soon enough they will be pulled down for apartments
@@MuiTube Ah okay! Thanks, have a great day :D

Who goes exploring in heels? Seriously???
It's in the evening. Heading out to "24 Moons" after that...
And you wonder why USA has #2 Amendment - when people did this to someone's home !? Horrible.
They're abandoned & awaiting demolition & redevelopment. Nobody to guard them.
