It was elevated to a felony under this trial because it is claimed he did it to commit another crime. NDAs are legal, but it is spun as being election fraud/interference. At the end of the day, it was elevated to class E felonies which don't usually involve actual served jail time.
Hunter Biden's charged crime is, as written, a Felony. A class C Felony. Hunter is more likely to serve jail time under the law with law as written. But will he, though?

In a case such as the Trump trial the judge should be removed from the bench now. How many more people has he done this to? He should also be facing charges along with the prosecutor who created this disgusting lie of a case.
Well... The crazy thing is that this very judge is known for REDUCING serious criminal FELONIES down to MISDEMEANORS in numerous other cases and going easy on defendants!

I'm not that optimistic about the legal system. If jurists make their decisions based on bias toward a defendant rather than the law, this is a huge negative for the rule of law. It also reflects the big divide within our nation among the people. When people make their decisions based on bias or ignorance rather than facts, we can't stand as a Nation of fair and equal justice.

Depending on what part of Wilmington, Delaware we are looking at, in the 2020 presidential election Wilmington voters went anywhere from 86 to 95 percent for Biden. Those numbers define the jury pool. Jury pools like this are extremely common in court cases having national political ramifications. This issue is one of the things our news media does not want to mention to their audience.
