A couple of years ago, in Louisiana, I saw a pigeon that had on a Benzing leg band; figured some local college project maybe? So there is some interest in sport pigeon racing?
I'm coming back to the hobby after few decades away and this honestly scares me a bit - I'm just confused. Is this system complete in itself as shown? Are there other parts needed? Is this the one that's sufficient for a small loft? Say max of maybe 20 birds on a team.

If you make an error/typo and enter wrong ring number can you go into the system and edit the chip ring that's on the bird?
