This looks brilliant. Hornby have done well with this model and it looks to run well even over the turnouts. Really enjoyed watching this. Clint at Leila Central
@@ModelRailwaysUnlimited If running on DC then the controller type will have a huge influence (PWM etc) - I'd like to see it running with a Zimo DCC n-gauge decoder - if that's at all possible... thank you!
That is so cute Mike. Britannia Models in Vancouver has them. I shall be so tempted when I see them in a couple of weeks at the Chilliwack model railway show. ........David.
@@ModelRailwaysUnlimited Britannia Models matches Hattons and Rails of Sheffield on a lot of stuff. These are priced at $103.00 CDN plus 12% tax so very comparable to the £70.00 prices I've seen advertised in the UK.
Many thanks Andrew, yes it does well, even better now that I removed the paint that had been left on one side of the pickups :) well done on noticing the fire engine, I try hard to build in interesting backgrounds :)
Lots of videos of this little engine have suddenly popped up in my recommendations!! And I'm not surprised why. It's great little addition to have. :-) How many wagons do you think it can pull??..... ;-)
Hi Sammy, I had it pulling three coaches as you might have seen, should be able to easily pull 8 wagons I think, however the real thing was only good for two or three because of its very low brake force!
Thanks for all the views and comments, would anyone be interested in a crawl test on this loco?
