Speak to him and you'll be able to ask him what's wrong and if you can help. He agrees, and asks you to deliver a very personal and confidential letter to Aldis in solitude. If you read the letter, it will say that morthals huscarl is ready to make the changes he has discussed with Aldis. Once you deliver the letter, Aldis will inform you that bc of the civil war and everything else going on, he won't "make changes to morthals leadership".

I have a mod that lets me marry almost anyone; discovered I could marry Elisif; then wiped out the Stormcloaks and married Elisif to claim the right to become High King of Skyrim.
You might not see this, but just in case, something for the “things you might not have known” style videos: during the quest “Laid to Rest” in Morthal, after killing Laellete, most players probably go right to Alva’s quest to gather proof that she’s a vampire. However, if you talk to the innkeeper, she has a unique dialogue option about Laellete, and if you talk to Alva herself, she mentions that she knows you killed Laellete.
Dinosaur fact: When TES VI is released, Skyrim will be so old, that it can make jokes about riding dinosaurs in the freezing cold and discovering ancient ruins of cave men and no one will know if it's joking or not. (Technically they're true)
When you win the Civil War on the Imperial side, all the "exiled" Jarls and their families are imprisoned in one of the rooms in the Blue Palace. Not sure where the Jarls would go if the Stormcloaks win. Somewhere in Windhelm's castle?
I know this is Rift related, but have you ever talked about how strange Darklight Tower is and the even odder conenction to the Ruins of Rkund? The fact that the mother was trying to "become one of them" as the daughter puts it. Which seems like a hagraven ritual, a bowl with a goat head which can be found all over hagraven nests. But in the Ruins of Rkund there is a dead hag and a dead witch, which is odd naming choices for two of the same type of enemy, but also a wisp mother spawns on top of the dead hag. Dwarven ruins, a wispmother, hags trying to become "something" all seems fishy, especially since there is a bar gate that only can be opened from the tower side, and leads right to the ruins.
Nate I got something special for you... the quest diplomatic immunity is by no chance a unfinished quest especially when you have to cause a distraction. Skyrim is just one of many provinces of the Empire. If the Empire went all out, Ulfric wouldn’t stand a chance simply due to massive numbers disadvantage.
He's at war with the empire in skyrim, but not the entire empire, if a member of the empire's royal family were to die because of him the rest of the empire would attack the stormcloaks and had be screwed
its even hinted that the empire will retake skyrim anyway, if the cloaks claim a certain fort near the boarder, you can find a note talking about the impending doom of a serious imperial legion storming into skyrim. most likely to write themselves out of another paradox.
The Empire is really phoning it in for the civil war. Most of the troops in Skyrim are just Nord conscripts. If the Emperor were assassinated actual Imperial troops would be sent in and the Stormcloaks would loose in a few months.

Dude i love that you still make content about tes 5 because you (hopefully) enjoy making it. I have watched many of your tutorials on Skyrim from secrets to walkthroughs please keep making all of the videos for entertainment and for knowledge about tes 5
I want to know about the sewers of Solitude. There are both grates and manholes scattered around the city and a few of them are hidden in such a way that I can't help but feel is on purpose, and must have been meant to lead somewhere. And maybe it was meant to function together with the "turn into a rat"-spell covered in a previous video.
This is becoming my favorite TH-cam channel. Although I think your Fallout 4 videos are better, even though I like Skyrim more. Great research!
I just encountered 'Taron Dreth' and his three Body Guards near the western watch tower.
Mention of Katria turns them hostile.
That was a surprise :)
Actually, all of his dialogue options lead to him being hostile.
Another funny fact about dear Captain Aldis, but for some reason he doesn't like if the Dragonborn, upon entering Solitude for the first time, immediately charges onto the execution stage.
I’ve played Skyrim through its entirety at least 7 times and just now found out the Blue Palace is actually blue
Ive just got in bed and need something to relax and fall asleep to... Perfect timing!
hm I played skyrim a bunch on my xbox, I have half a mind to buy it on steam, at least then I could use mods to make things different from my console days.
They've allowed mods on skyrim now for a few years.... some pretty cool ones out there but there are obviously more on the PC. I always use a light saber mod and all i do now is just pretend im a sith or jedi thats been either transported to Tamriel or a person in Skyrim who one day becomes force sensitive and yeah
Love this kind of video!
Great Job!!
Lmao imagine being killed by Ulfric Stormcloak.
Lmao imagine being Ulfric Stormcloak
Lmao imagine Ulfric Stormcloak
AUGH GHHFG Lmao Ulfric Stormcloak
Lmao Stormcloak's
Lmao cloaks
Wearing imperial armor in Riften early in the game can get you some hostile words if you talk to the guards guarding the jail.
Hey nate! Did you know you can destroy the keepers in the soul carin before you meet Valerica and she will notice and says that she noticed you destroyed them.
Please dont feel like you constantly have to apologize for being sick. I didnt even notice you sounded different for a min. It just makes me sad were all people and cant control things like getting sick. Stay strong 💪 and love ur vids💜
"We can't risk an all-out war with the Empire...."
Uhhhhhh....
tbf the empire has only sent one legion in case a second great war starts up but that would most likely change if they commit regicide
I am so stranglely protective of Elisif. The poor woman's husband was murdered in front of her and she's trying her best. I believe she deserves better.
Fun fact: Nate gets his facts from reading elder scrolls and the book in the college
And he learnt english from a cat. Not a Khajiit, a literal house cat
@@metetural9140 at least he get his wares from Khajit caravans
The Vittoria Vici/Civil War quest conflict was the most interesting thing in all of your very interesting videos. Please do a who video of these! 5 Quest Conflicts in Skyrim!
12:51 - What do you think you're doing? Walking around dressed like a damned W O M A N!
yes , i was looking for this
Nate and Fudgemuppet refusing to let Skyrim rest. And I absolutely love you for it
One thing I don't know is how Nate finds all this stuff and Nate isn't talking 😂
i love watching your videos. your voice, while sounding like an over acting news anchor, is also very intreging and your videos are always educational and informative. i always go into them thinking i know something about skyrim but come out learning things i never knew. i love playing skyrim today. for the last 9 years ive been playing it and always learn something new about the main story or side quests ive yet to discover. its a wonderful game and bethesda will be hard pressed to create something new and raise the bar above what theyve already done.
Can't wait for your Elder Scrolls 6 series.
Cant wait for liberty prime in the elder scrolls 6
@@thecauldron2212 You won't have to wait long.
Nate, just wanna say, we love your videos. Awesome content, keep it up bro
I always dream of going to a coma for about 4 years when I play Skyrim so es6 would come out already
Speaking of Solitude, I'm playing Skyrim right now and I just noticed the broken in half Oblivion Gate in the middle of the Castle Dour.
NEXT: 5 things the never told you about....
WHITERUN
Whiterun is my favorite city because it design is base on gondor from lord of the rings
I think it's going to be on morthal because of the fact he said about the guard at the end
Three Seven Five-Five well I meant that but also Rohan is in Gondor so I should have said capital of Gondor
@@GlennSkywalker2305 The Capital of Gondor was Osgiliath and now it is Minas Tirith.
@Three Seven Five-Five The Country is Rohan the Capital is Edoras.
Wtf guys, you serious?
Philipp Wilm oh I knew it
Please tell me I'm not the only person who falls asleep to these videos. not that they arent interesting, your voice is just soothing
Falk Firebeard is not a thane, he's the steward.
100 years after Skyrims release and this guy is still making videos weekly. I swear to god this guy is the reason Todd Howard keeps porting this game
Ulfric’s logic of “not wanting to spill royal blood to avoid an all out war”, while being AT WAR with the empire is honestly just stupid.
Tragedy14500
He meant with ALL the empire. Not just in skyrim
Thanks for the entertaining videos. I hope your feeling better by now.
I feel like once Elisif learn more about politics, general Tallius gonna get kicked out for his disrespectful attitude
That wouldn't happen because she will stay as a puppet to the empire
