- In a dress rehearsal for the Air Force Academy's Doolie Day (in-processing for the class of 2018), a small handful of cadets get to treat senior commanders as basic cadets. In other words, they scream in their faces.

I get the reason why they do it. High level officers such as colonels and generals can be intimidating and if the cadets can be comfortable screaming at them, they'll have no trouble screaming at freshmen coming in.

As someone who went through basic, it's not the ones who yell that scare anyone it's the ones who are quiet and sneak up on you and watch you without you know that scared the crap out of me. Cause you don't know when you will get yelled at...

Females have been able to serve in the US military and the militaries of other nations for a long time now.
Same as here in Australia, no instructor would yell or carry on like over there because losing composure is a sign of weakness. It was all stiff upper lip and you copped a flogging seperate from everyone else. The mushroom theory - keep them in the total dark and only feed them shit. So much scarier.

I'm a conservative and even I have to say you are so blind. Sure women are undeniably not at the same physical level as men, but they can handle stress better than men. Even though women are more emotional, men are proven to be more impulsive in the moment which can be very consequential. Those two points alone prove that having the military composed 14.6% of women is beneficial. Please rethink your idiotic intellect and look at just a few sources before making any stupid claims. +Maximilian Ortiz The Army and the Marines are on par when you factor in OSUT units. About the only thing different is the Marines train pistols in Boot not just rifles. I saw Marines transfer to the Army and they were use to it, but were sucking wind like the rest of us. Same stuff just a little different.

Fucking hilarious. I may not be interested in the military as I am in firefighting. But I did do AFJROTC for two years and if I did go into the air force, after basic, I'd be an E-3. Mitchell was something, Marine drill instructors would come every once in awhile, when they do, holy shit. It made this cadet of my fellow element leader shit himself and another girl piss herself. Fucking priceless. Even made my flight commander piss himself.

My dad was a Master Sergeant in charge of all base support services at Nellis AFB, called a first shirt, meaning he answered only to the base commander. I don't know why, it wasn't something that had happened before, but for some reason he had taken me to the office with him that day...this would have been early 70's. I was playing on the floor near his conference room table when an airman come in. He started to dress down that airman in a tone that I had never heard him use before in my life and as a little girl it scared the crap out of me. I crawled under the table and refused to come out for a long time - 45 years later I can still remember that day pretty clearly and I was very thankful that dad was not mad at ME!
b hix He would still be required to answer to any commissioned officer as he was only enlisted Service Member. Doesn't matter if your a Master Sergeant or not you are still required to follow all lawful orders given by The officers appointed above you

If your tech school is long as fuck like linguist ( spelling may be off) or spec ops or any tech school longer than 20 weeks you can put e3 on with in 20 weeks of tech school if your tech school is long as fuck
