Super Street Fighter 2 Shun Goku Satsu from the Dreamcast version. - เกม
Old Guile: Sonic Boom 💪💫
New Guile: Sonic Buwum 😁🦄
He sounds just like the announcer
You best believe I laughed my ass off at that as a kid.
They never should have changed Guiles voice.
1. It's classic.
2. It's funny.
3. It actually really fits him.
SF2 Guile Manly voice
SSF2 Guile Gay voice
When you realize it’s the announcer doing SSF2 Guile’s voice.
No Guile is announcing SSF2!
Yeah. They improved his sprite but messed up his voice.
2:47 SF2: “SONIC BOOM!” Ssf2: “Sonic Boom”
lo nerfearon
Yes I feel it too
Sonic CD
1:09 dosukoi ¡DOSUKOI!
14:08 all of the fighters are dieing
akuma: 🗿
HAAAHAA !! 😹😹👌
The older audio sounds better in most cases.
It’s kinda split. Though I think the newer ones are better are better on most of the cast members that actually got new voice clips, except Guile of course.
Only on Guile
There’s more subbass and it feels like an actual old kung-fu flick with the sound quality being low-res
Old Cammy: No blood
New Cammy: Blood 🩸
Blanka's terrifying roar: awful downgrade.
0:28 *I'D LIKE SOME POUND CAKE.*
I know the original Street Fighter II still has the most iconic voices that sound the best, I mostly prefer Super Street Fighter II since it gives the characters a personality voice which suits them well.
Cps1 audio is just eons ahead, specially the hit effects that sounds like a gunshot.
Yeah the hit sounds are amazing.
That's a very herd mentality opinion there. Everybody and their sister says CPS One hit sounds are better and there's no factual basis for that. People just like the old style better because let's face it CPS One SF2 was out for years and that's the childhood memories everybody like so of course they're going to say that vers better by default. You're not saying anything that's particularly original or new or even thoughtful so I don't even really care what you think is absolute fact. Get an opinion that is unique and has some actual thought behind it okay
Because in fact I really don't like the CPS One hit sound effects or voice actors much at all. They're not terrible, they were cool for what they were but actually like the hit sound effects much better in CPS2.
Of course you're not going to tell a bunch of classic arcade fanboys that they're wrong, I'm one in the $200 million people in the entire world that actually have a different opinion so of course if I was the room with all of y'all I would get shouted down so loud so hard and so fast I probably just collapse. That's how it is on social media man If there's that one person who just disagrees for legitimate reasons, everybody's got to shout them down. And I anticipate there will be at least 30 comments within a week telling me how wrong I am because how dare I have a different opinion 😡😡😡
@@godfist314 What does it matter if the opinion is not new or orignal? Why would I lie to myself and force an opinion that is "unique" instead of just going with what I like? If that's your mindset you're nothing more than a contrarian. There's no "factual basis" for anything like this. It's all subjective. But most people who prefer the CPS1 sounds will say they are louder, fiercer, "like a gunshot", so yes, there is a consensus and some logic and thought to that opinion.
@@godfist314Bruh U Said All That For What? Just To Disagree? All Of That Wasn't Even Needed...
Facts Man Lol I Didn't Really Like Super Street Fighter 2 Sound
Guile's voice change 😢
12:29 Fun fact, in Hyper Street Fighter II Gouki/Akuma uses Bison/Balrog's KO voice
I like how in the earlier games, all the men basically sounded the same and made the same noise when defeated
14:08 The fighters: *hurt*
Akuma: Idgaf
6:30 BARLOG?!?!?!?!
in japan his name in M.Bison in referes a Mike Tyson, but in the usa versión change the names ;(
@@renato3811I think he's referring to how it sounds like the announcer is saying Barlog instead of Balrog
I never understood why Cammy has two separate sets of lines for EN and JP when both are actually English lines.
Wow, what a effort!!! Excellent video.
Thank you !
@@dandojofightersyou're the best street fighter youtuber, no doubt 💪🏻♥️
10:51 "Xbox Smash!" Dee Jay was secretly a Playstation fanboy even before the Xbox was even a thing.
I think the perfect marriage would be CPS1 sound effects and music with CPS2 voices except for the announcer doing Guile and Sagat's special moves. Those can be the CPS1 announcer.
Would have to make maybe a few other tweaks here and there plus use the CPS2 music for the new challengers (I know they went back and did CPS1 versions for the anniversary edition but they are not really better so would stick with the much more familiar versions)
2:50 sonic boom.
thank you for putting the time in to make these types of videos
Pretty awesome, fantastic compilation ❤
Buen video; Un gran trabajo. En mi opinión, nunca debieron cambiar las voces del primer sf2.
I love how the contrast on the backgrounds is better on the CPS-1 too, the colors are drab and muted in SSF2 and T
They completely destroyed Guile
I liked Chun-Li's original SF2 Voice
great work.
Thank you.
The USSR dissolved in 1991, why didn't CAPCOM change it in SSF2 and SSF2 XBOX 360?
Porque el juego sigue ambientado en esa época.
Looking at the world maps, they did New Zealand dirty every time.
I didn't know there were differences, successes
The males' KO scream remain the same in the original Street Fighter II
The first voice actors are better
However, SSF2 has more voices.
agree

Ultra SF2 should have been included too. The Sharp X86 version had higher-quality voice clips, some of which were reused for Super as well, these clips are higher-pitched than the arcade ones, thus some of the voices from the CPS1 version are based on the same source as the CPS2 version. Some of the SNES ports altered voice clips too.
Ultra Street Fighter II reuse the Street Fighter IV voices.
@@dandojofighters
No, it used the voice cast from JP SF4 as well, some of it newly recorded.
@@austinreed7343 Which ones are newly recorded
@@Rex-golf_player810
A lot of the super combo callouts.
@@dandojofightersit also included the sf4 jp voice actors as an option so, still needs to be updated
I’ve always wondered if the voice actors can be tracked down, would love to learn who performed them
Unfortunately, there is no source for it. Not even the credits in the games.
Good comparison
CPS1 ❤
6:34 HOOOAHHHHH!
Also 6:40 EH EH EH EH EH EH EH
Wasn't the Crazy buffalo upper a reference to the bull charge? (Punch out series, character: bald bull)
I'm surprised Ultra 2 wasn't thrown in this. I feel like that game is so under documented there's audio changes and UI changes in portraits announcer n all. ;_;
I'm working on it.
You should’ve done ultra Street fighter to the final challengers. There was also a lot of changes with certain characters. Also shin Akumu, I believe in the Japanese version for he has ballrogs ko
sound.
The newer audio sounds better in most cases.
Blue Street Figher 2 Wasn't On Super Nintendo Or Is That With The Code?
Old sounds are better
Missing the new ultra sf2 clips on here too
Some voices are much better obviously, like, Ryu and Ken had one voice in original that's silly, but damn Sagat and Guile sound so whiny in SSF2 like what the hell

こう見るとHDは筋肉がずいぶん膨らんでますね
Were some of SF2 Sagat's voice lines recycled to SSF2 Sagat?
12:53 you were saying?!
6:24 U Are Missing His Super Street Fighter 2 Sound From The SNES He Didnt Sound Like Ryu
Voice Collection Street Fighter II vs Ultra Street Fighter II could you add that too?
I'll try.

@@user-kg5jt3xb9j el arte esta mal hecho
Should kept honda voice for the headbutt
Where is flashkick from Guile-Sama ?
No voice for this move.
Sagat's laugh sounds similar in both interestingly..
You should have used the sharp 68000 port for sf2 sounds. Clear then the cps1 arcade.
Nobody can rip those because thete is no optiom for disabling music
@@kikihideout4966 really? No emulators have access to volumes like the others?
The new announcer on HD not so good. I liked the SSF2 better.
サガットは同じ人だな
Guile? No. Who they really fucked up was Blanka!
The later games were such a travesty due to them using a fruity sounding announcer, really took the street out of street fighter
The original and champion edition really hadthe best sounds, voices
Gerardo Andrés Barragan Carreño 6
6:13 What was that? O.o
This is the teleport sound in Super.
Where is ultra street fighter 2??
Falto vega el torero
Sagat stage on world's warrior, where is the coconut tree?
We can't see it on the left of the stage.

😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Blanka SFII: iconic, frightening, pierced the noise the arcade
Blanma SSFII: pathetic.
A lot of the reason I prefer the originals over Super is the sound design, everything in Super is as weak as diluted piss, including the music. No idea why they went from powerful to gutless
Barlog!
SSF2 adds more personality and I think are better, with the exception of guile sounding a bit fruity
who cares pointless video to me
Then go ahead and click off bro!
I Bet he has 2 small hadoukens too
No one cares little man. click off the video
