this theme fucking kicks so much ass. the 80's and 90's always did have that creepy, eerie theme music that just told you that you're about to watch something that's going to fuck with your mind for a long time.
Batesmotel1960 I watched a movie last night called 'Camel Spiders'. It was jam packed with CGI spiders and the acting was horrible. I think movie directors and producers of today are lazy; because all these movies done with CGI, could be so much better with a little puppeteering here and there. Take 'The Thing' from the 80's for example. It was perfect, because the directors and producers actually put their imagination to good use. They might have used some CGI, but most of it was puppeteering; which made it seem more realistic to me. Movies today would be worth watching if they didn't use CGI so much.
@theundertaker919 No, Phantasm is best left where it is because it doesnt feel the need to explain everything. Every film just creates more questions whilst answering very little
acdcrock93 same goes with Halloween 1-5, Nightmare On Elm Street 1-3, Hellraiser 1-4, Saw 1-3, Friday The 13th Part 1-4, Texas Chainsaw 1 1974 only, and Paranormal Activity 1-3 even though so many people hate that franchise so much. But I only love the first three of PA
Both wear suits Both are aliens trying to be human Both are extremely difficult to kill Both have a distinguishable feature that differs them from humans Both are some of the most intelligent fictional characters ever Both have ambiguous backstories Both ran away from where they were born due to a willingness to explore Both can travel to parallel worlds (multiverse) Both are aliens who look human Both use a device to travel through time and space Both use a device which is a multifunctional tool and can do almost anything Both have famous catchphrases Both have insanely good themes While the Tall Man fights the good, the Doctor fights evil
@cheapcape once I seen all these movies i was pissed off that there was no more but it was kind of a good thing that they did not make too many sequels
@dtucke01 I dunno, I loved how the ending of the fourth left it wide open to your own interpretation. As far as I'm concerned, Mikey was dead and Reggie was heading off on a suicidal revenge mission. Nobody beats the Tall Man! But maybe my mind is just too nihilistic :)
I liked the sequel...however the remix requires great detail. Developing a story and characters is important. But I wonder who do you get to play the protagonist because Angus could play himself?
Part 2 was ok but hated when they didn’t have the original cast in their and that one boy that played in part 2 didn’t fit the role, glad they brought back the original cast and not him
Rest in Peace Angus Scrimm :( you definitely made history with this chilling, terrifying movie series! ❤️
How are you sure i actually died boy?

Batesmotel1960 ikr

@@BiggDogg25100 I agree
That theme music is essential for creating the mood for this movie.
R.I.P Angus Scrimm and Alan Rickman the greatest villains of all time.
The 80's hit this song with vengeance lol But you still gotta love it
1. Phantasm 2
2. Phantasm
3. Phantasm 3
4. Phantasm: Oblivion
5. Ravager
P2 will always be my fave of the series, and this theme is just badass!!
I agree almost 100% , except that i think Oblivion is better than 3 and Phantasm 1 better than 2
@@predator2262I agree.
Totally agreed. The ending of the fourth film is awesome precisely because it doesn't tell you what happens next, it lets you decide for yourself.
all the phantasm movies in my opinion are all grate!! and the themes
Phantasm 4 and 5 sucked.
It's just a dream.
NO, IT'S NOT.
@NEKRomantik.😅👍: el mío también
The harvester of the dead truly roams the realm of the living
Great memories when Me and my dad would watch this movie all time favorite :)
You have a cool dad.
"you play a good game, boy. but the game is finished, NOW you die."
+Harrison Betker Come east if you dare.
"Boy!!!!!"
Harrison Betker "Be careful what you look for, boy.....you just might find it."
Best line in the entire series
"You think that when you die you go to heaven? You come to us."
and this is why the Phantasm series is my most enduring obsession
Same boat man, I am completely obssessed with Phantasm and the catalyst of my obssesion is the flawless soundtrack
Try the soundtrack for CHUD. So 80s
@@duewhit310 Actually saw it yesterday, love the hell out of it
@@georgekostaras hah! What timing. Some desolate haunting music. Fit well.
I dont recommend the sequel. Its entirely different.
@@duewhit310 There's a movie store near my house that survived blockbusters. The wife and I decided that this would be eighties movie night
Always loved what they did to the theme for Phantasm II; it really added to the end of the second film.
BOYYYY!!!!!!!!!
Best film score EVER

Best Movie from the series, I can still hear that ‘cuda!
Reggie rock
It's in my DNA! Phantasm forever! Hot as Love!!
these 80s 90s themes of horror movies remind you that your going to watch something that can scare the stuff out of you
Great theme!
0:30-1:00 Phantasm II Theme song music
These films were really good
The GOAT horror movie theme.
I like this song
I wish they made Phantasm 5 to end it. Part 4 left the series unfinished.
Thé Tall man is an evil Doctor who
Both wear suits
Both are aliens trying to be human
Both are extremely difficult to kill
Both have a distinguishable feature that differs them from humans
Both are some of the most intelligent fictional characters ever
Both have ambiguous backstories
Both ran away from where they were born due to a willingness to explore
Both can travel to parallel worlds (multiverse)
Both are aliens who look human
Both use a device to travel through time and space
Both use a device which is a multifunctional tool and can do almost anything
Both have famous catchphrases
Both have insanely good themes
While the Tall Man fights the good, the Doctor fights evil
Its only a dream...
NO...IT'S NOT
Entombed 🙏
"Grave site service is about to begin!"....
This song reminds me that i need to prepare my things for go on for vacation
classic.
its fuckin great this
BOOOOOOOYYYYY!!
Sounds like this was the inspiration for the Walking Dead theme. Especially the bassline.
very uplifting theme for sci fi horror
@cheapcape once I seen all these movies i was pissed off that there was no more but it was kind of a good thing that they did not make too many sequels
The TALL MAN never dies
I think I was 4 when my step dad took me to see this in the theater. I was just a boyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

*THIS WORLD DIDN'T DESERVE THE TALL MAN*
@GriffithAMPS Remake and attach Guillermo Del Toro to the movie. He does his best work when working with dark fantasy, and Phantasm's in that realm.
Its alittle faster isnt it?
Seems so
More action in this one..but not quite as dark and creepy.
The exorcist and phantasm and the blair witch project all ground breaking
@GriffithAMPS I'm all for part 5. I just need to know what happens
I made a ringtone of this!!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Superb

Entombed
the 3d part is the best
And also too for go on for going home
COME ON YOU MOTHER
Chris Young really revved up this version with Fred Myrow (R.I.P.)...
You played a good game booooy .....lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The yarni is now complete
Anyone remember a music video of this song
tom noonan should play the tall man in the remake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
No Angus scrimm he was the original actor
BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Part 2 was ok but hated when they didn’t have the original cast in their and that one boy that played in part 2 didn’t fit the role, glad they brought back the original cast and not him
You think when you die you go to heaven no you come to the USA
@az09256 There are only four movies bro. Whatever you saw it wasn't Phantasm 5, aint no such thing.
Boooooooy !!!
Phantasm II is a shit.
