Parents who have a biological child with a disability don’t get “training” because it can hardly ever be predicted. They just learn to adapt and care for their child and their needs the best way they could AFTER they have them.
This, a million times this!! My oldest is autistic, learning disabilities, generalized anxiety, and because he didn’t have enough thrown his way... a tumor which took the function in half his leg. There’s not a video or training series that can prep you for this. But guess what, I get up every morning and put on my big girl pants. Because I love him, he has potential (as all children do), and I want the absolute best outcome for him.

12 hours of preadoption classes are required for adopting from China. I call B.S. My husband and I easily did more than 12 hours with online courses, in-person courses and recommended books. When your child receives an autism diagnosis, you learn everything you can about parenting an autistic child. Instead, they were looking for a miracle autism cure with stem cells.

More people need to see this. Her words and actions speak volumes. People with common sense wouldn’t even need analysis videos to realize how dishonest and despicable she is. Nonetheless, videos like this are still necessary, so that people won’t forget how H was thrown away!
YES! Thank you! This is such an IMPORTANT observation. They can’t put every. single. piece of their life online and then expect to backtrack with some made up BS to try and get out of the tangled web they created for themselves. It’s so predictable to get caught doing something wrong and have the first reaction be to lie and blame everyone else (H, the doctors, the adoption agency, etc.). But when we all know the truth and we have actually watched it firsthand...well expect to be called out and receive what you deserve!
She wanted a kid with a brain tumor who was likely to pass in 3 years, and when they found out he wasn't dying, they got rid of him. She makes it very clear in so many interviews that after she found out he would be with them for the rest of their lives, she freaked out. She literally only got him for clout and money. She's disgusting.
We can not let people forget about this and move on to the next drama... And let’s not forget... she originally just wanted to foster a special needs child... because fostering a child is temporary. As soon as she found out you can not film foster children and put them on the internet, she had to adopt. So YES! She only adopted H to take advantage of him and put him on YT for views and subscribers!!! 5,000% yes.... she did it for money 💰
She also literally said they won't foster to adopt becuase you can't post their faces online :s :s and she said that James was too big of a softy to get emotionally attached to kids who had to get sent away later.. very ironic.. and also that God lead them on the path.. they said a lot of things overall I guess.
The fact Myka Stauffer seriously thinks women "looked up to [her] as a mother" is absolutely ridiculous, and shows just how narcissistic she is. Her so-called apology is full of excuses and justifications for her actions. The person she truly hurt was Huxley, and she can't ever undo the harm she's done.

My brother has level 3 autism and he's 24. Their revenue generated by youtube could've afforded them so much behavioral therapy and other programs to assist them. It's laughable that she's still making this about herself.
In your opinion, based on the small amount of footage we saw of H, did he seem to have lvl 3 autism? My sister is barely on the spectrum and H seemed more like her than other individuals I personally know that have severe autism.

I would never take footage of my brother and post it (anywhere), so I feel like I'd be a hypocrite if I truly went down the rabbit hole of youtube archives. From what I've heard via youtubers covering this, it doesn't sound like it. Sign language this young is an indicator to me that he is aware of certain feelings and has a minimal understanding of communication. Which is amazing, level 3's can't get close to doing that because they're hyper focused on their senses. For anybody curious, I am trained in behavioral therapy and have volunteer taught at special needs events. I'm not solely basing my opinion on my experience with my brother.
Elizabeth I’m a special education teacher. Early childhood. I have a lot of students with autism on my caseload. There are no two cases that are alike. But from the few clips I’ve seen, he seemed engaged, attentive, interactive, and it sounded like he was making progress in therapy. It is hard. SO hard when they are young. But that’s when the work needs to be put in. The foundation is so important. It pays off like you wouldn’t believe later. Ugh it’s so frustrating bc kids with disabilities have SO much potential. And they are amazing. Some of the most compassionate ppl you will meet. You see it even at the age of 3-5. Ppl just wont give them a chance bc they don’t fall into the “norm”. The tantrums can be no joke but that’s every kid. Granted we didn’t see every tantrum, but H had a LOT on his plate and a lot of changes. He seemed like he was adjusting really well. It’s just really disappointing because the only one who will truly suffer is H. Hoping his next home and family is more equipped emotionally.
I have 2 half sisters and 5 brothers. One of my sisters is on the spectrum and 4 of my siblings are, as am I. One of my brothers is very severe and has multiple disabilities. I have ASD, SID, seizures (unspecified), selective mutism and SIB. One of my brothers has severe autism, intellectual challenges, OCD, Tourette’s, PANDAS etc. The twins are severely autistic and have severe ADHD. One of my brothers is like me quite a bit but he has OCD but no seizures. My sister has moderate autism and serious audible sensory issues. My parents won’t even get respite because they don’t trust people they don’t know, let alone re-home us. Nope, they moved from Russia to the US with all of us. There are places she could have gotten help. Ohio has state resources and there are national resources. My mom wonders if, well, she said she were told he had a brain tumor. Those can often be fatal. Were they expecting him to not live more than a few years only to find out, it’s autism and that’s not fatal. He was going to be around for a very long time. That was not what they were thinking. I don’t know. Just a thought. I mean, it made sense though we could not really know. She was abusive to him from the look of the videos. He stimmed by sucking his thumb. They tape his thumb. They don’t want him to watch them eat. He is autistic and was around 2. She’s lucky he didn’t take food from their mouth (one of my brothers used to do that if you chewed too loud). Of all You Tubers out there....these people are the worst. Narcissistic self righteous posers. Just looked it up, Ohio has more than one autism society. When he was 6, they could have put him in a residential school for autistic children but if their local school district would not pay for it, they would have had to. I guess they didn’t so much as google “Autism services in Ohio”. She could have found a lot so I’m specifically not buying that BS.

I randonly clicked on that video, without really knowing the story behind it. When I first saw the "crying," my first thought was that I was not moved by it. Normally, when I see someone cry - even someone whom I do not know - I will feel somewhat upset. I have spent some time watching this channel and I am obviously extremely concerned about "H." Firstly, one day he is going to see soem of the footage and I think some of the videos are a severe intrusion into his personal moments. how would you like it if there existed videos of you having a tantrum and it is made worse by the fact that "H" is just so vulnerable. So many of these children being featured on these videos are going to grow up resenting their parents.

“I needed more training” okay, then get training... don’t just give away a child. As the adult in the scenario, LEARN to do better. They are so well off they could have hired someone to come over daily and help out or teach them to care better for their child.
I can’t count how many training courses my mother and grandmother have gone to in order to learn more about my autism, and anxiety, etc. Because you don’t just give away your child.
They could have literally hired a qualified nanny to care 24/7 for H. He would still have a family and “normal “ life but also an appropriate caregiver.
im kinda scared she's gonna make up a story to make him seem super violent to his siblings when for 2.5 years they never showed anything that would point to that.. his relationship with the other kids was actually getting better and he was close to the 2nd daughter from the start. Heyitslori a lot of autistic children are violent and extremely difficult to handle, which is why there are so many options for care for special needs children. The reality is she can’t come up with a story to validate her decisions because she clearly has the means to provide any care or help they may have needed. It honestly upsets me when she says things like “we were ill prepared” You know who else isn’t prepared? That's the thing that makes me angry about them. They searched for a disabled child, they got informed he has more unknown issues. They have the resources to give him more support like a private nanny, training ect. but still decided to give up on him.

I'm wondering if H was acting out when the new baby arrived? IF that's true, it still isn't H's fault. I remember in earlier videos, Myka was told by the adoption agency and the expert doctors told the Stauffer family that H shouldn't be in a home with a new born baby! They were told because of H's disability , he couldn't handle being in a home with a new baby. And don't think for moment that the new baby wasn't planned! Her alglorthim of adopted mothers ran it's course, so she decided to have a new baby. The new baby was cute and cuddly and posed for the camera. Just like her other children, Myka programmed him to be a prop on camera. H wouldn't do that. Poor child hated to be on camera and wouldn't cooperate. (this is what Jim stauffer said on his channel "stauffer garage" multiple times.) Also, H probably got jealous of the new baby, (which is perfectly normal) Myka stopped being interested in H and decided to "rehome" him. Shame on her! H had special needs, but Myka didn't have time for H anymore to help him. That nasty woman shouldn't have any children. They all should be taken away!
It seemed to me that Myka was hinting that Huxley had sexually or physical abused one of the other children. She wants to make everyone think the worst possible things about Huxley so that she and her husband look like they are protecting the other kids instead of just abandoning Huxley, which is what they did.

I’m worried about those other kids and their mental health. Imaging being diagnosed with a condition (not saying they have any) with parents that have given a child away for being difficult. I’m worried about how they feel knowing they have a kid away. How they felt seeing that Myka and James didn’t care about their adoptive son as much as them.
I have a son with Autism and he is constantly violent with me and his brother. Oh I'm a single mom. I learned how to be a better mom for him. It took me years to be be able to be at the spot we are at and I would never ever rehome him ever. This is sick!!!

Which is almost everything. They spent so much on Bali they need to replace it and give him most of their money. In my culture we have a saying which basically means there’s no blessings in money that’s not honestly earned and it leaves you running after more, it’ll never be enough, that’s the curse.

I said this over on Katie’s channel, but all I heard was “I’m sorry y’all are mad at me”. If she wanted additional training, she could have found it. They could have asked his doctors for help with no judgement. They could have searched out groups. I am not in her shoes and hind sight is 20/20, but I hope I would have the sense to turn off the cameras and focus on raising my child(ren). They likely could have lived off of Stauffer Garage and an online store. ETA: In my opinion it’s in Huxley’s best interest for them to remove all content related to him. He does not need to see this when he is older. That would just be retraumatizing him. I bet their attorneys are the ones that advised them to remove it all and are copyright striking videos. If I was their attorney that would be my advice.
Hague adoption training is more than a one day video, so that was a lie. She asked doctors and rejected their advice. She was in multiple China adoption groups - I'm in the same ones - and she was given solid advice. Apparently she was also in groups for parents of children with autism, and they also offered advice. She's lying.
She also was in legit Facebook groups and things of that nature who were made up of the very people she could've asked for help. She can't lie herself out of the fucking bathtub lol

I’ve had some medical training; anyone who has had even minor exposure to that should a) know the importance of being as highly trained as possible for whatever specialized situation you can anticipate, and b) know how easy it is to find adoption education and training programs, parenting classes, etc, especially in the age of everyone having a smart phone! What kind of psycho ignores countless professionals and experienced parent advice when it comes to bringing home a CHILD (and surrounding them with unfamiliar people that don’t share the ethnicity or culture)?! This woman is beyond gross. I understand that she needs to financially support her family, but she should accept that it is no longer appropriate to proceed with this route of family vlogging. How tf has she not learned that (especially as a public figure) her choices and screw up’s will negatively impact her children’s wellbeing and security???! 🤢 🤮

I recall a good many prayers I've prayed that went unanswered. I'm not trying to get into a debate about religion, my point is merely that praying, as I understand it, is basically asking God to strengthen your hands while you get to work making things happen. Like 'Please Lord, give me the strength to raise these kids' or something, you can't just sit back, you still have to do the parenting. Praying for a future is like praying for winning the lottery. If you're not going to be able to put your own effort into it, I just don't see the prayer ever getting answered. And if the prayer does get answered, it will be because the new parents put in a shitload of effort as well as Hux himself, not her prayer.

When your child receives an autism diagnosis, you learn everything you can about parenting an autistic child. Instead, they were looking for a miracle autism cure with stem cells.

I would never take footage of my brother and post it (anywhere), so I feel like I'd be a hypocrite if I truly went down the rabbit hole of youtube archives. From what I've heard via youtubers covering this, it doesn't sound like it. Sign language this young is an indicator to me that he is aware of certain feelings and has a minimal understanding of communication. Which is amazing, level 3's can't get close to doing that because they're hyper focused on their senses. For anybody curious, I am trained in behavioral therapy and have volunteer taught at special needs events. I'm not solely basing my opinion on my experience with my brother.

Elizabeth I’m a special education teacher. Early childhood. I have a lot of students with autism on my caseload. There are no two cases that are alike. But from the few clips I’ve seen, he seemed engaged, attentive, interactive, and it sounded like he was making progress in therapy. It is hard. SO hard when they are young. But that’s when the work needs to be put in. The foundation is so important. It pays off like you wouldn’t believe later. Ugh it’s so frustrating bc kids with disabilities have SO much potential. And they are amazing. Some of the most compassionate ppl you will meet. You see it even at the age of 3-5. Ppl just wont give them a chance bc they don’t fall into the “norm”. The tantrums can be no joke but that’s every kid. Granted we didn’t see every tantrum, but H had a LOT on his plate and a lot of changes. He seemed like he was adjusting really well. It’s just really disappointing because the only one who will truly suffer is H. Hoping his next home and family is more equipped emotionally.
I have 2 half sisters and 5 brothers. One of my sisters is on the spectrum and 4 of my siblings are, as am I. One of my brothers is very severe and has multiple disabilities. I have ASD, SID, seizures (unspecified), selective mutism and SIB. One of my brothers has severe autism, intellectual challenges, OCD, Tourette’s, PANDAS etc. The twins are severely autistic and have severe ADHD. One of my brothers is like me quite a bit but he has OCD but no seizures. My sister has moderate autism and serious audible sensory issues. My parents won’t even get respite because they don’t trust people they don’t know, let alone re-home us. Nope, they moved from Russia to the US with all of us.
There are places she could have gotten help. Ohio has state resources and there are national resources.
My mom wonders if, well, she said she were told he had a brain tumor. Those can often be fatal. Were they expecting him to not live more than a few years only to find out, it’s autism and that’s not fatal. He was going to be around for a very long time. That was not what they were thinking. I don’t know. Just a thought. I mean, it made sense though we could not really know.

When I first saw the "crying," my first thought was that I was not moved by it. Normally, when I see someone cry - even someone whom I do not know - I will feel somewhat upset.
I have spent some time watching this channel and I am obviously extremely concerned about "H." Firstly, one day he is going to see soem of the footage and I think some of the videos are a severe intrusion into his personal moments. how would you like it if there existed videos of you having a tantrum and it is made worse by the fact that "H" is just so vulnerable. So many of these children being featured on these videos are going to grow up resenting their parents.

I'm wondering if H was acting out when the new baby arrived? IF that's true, it still isn't H's fault. I remember in earlier videos, Myka was told by the adoption agency and the expert doctors told the Stauffer family that H shouldn't be in a home with a new born baby! They were told because of H's disability , he couldn't handle being in a home with a new baby. And don't think for moment that the new baby wasn't planned! Just like her other children, Myka programmed him to be a prop on camera. H wouldn't do that. Poor child hated to be on camera and wouldn't cooperate. (this is what Jim stauffer said on his channel "stauffer garage" multiple times.) Also, H probably got jealous of the new baby, (which is perfectly normal) Myka stopped being interested in H and decided to "rehome" him. Shame on her! H had special needs, but Myka didn't have time for H anymore to help him. That nasty woman shouldn't have any children. They all should be taken away!
It seemed to me that Myka was hinting that Huxley had sexually or physical abused one of the other children. She wants to make everyone think the worst possible things about Huxley so that she and her husband look like they are protecting the other kids instead of just abandoning Huxley, which is what they did.

I’m worried about those other kids and their mental health. Imaging being diagnosed with a condition (not saying they have any) with parents that have given a child away for being difficult. If she wanted additional training, she could have found it. They could have asked his doctors for help with no judgement. They could have searched out groups. I am not in her shoes and hind sight is 20/20, but I hope I would have the sense to turn off the cameras and focus on raising my child(ren). They likely could have lived off of Stauffer Garage and an online store.
ETA: In my opinion it’s in Huxley’s best interest for them to remove all content related to him. He does not need to see this when he is older. That would just be retraumatizing him. I bet their attorneys are the ones that advised them to remove it all and are copyright striking videos. If I was their attorney that would be my advice.
Hague adoption training is more than a one day video, so that was a lie. She asked doctors and rejected their advice. She was in multiple China adoption groups - I'm in the same ones - and she was given solid advice. Apparently she was also in groups for parents of children with autism, and they also offered advice. She's lying.
She also was in legit Facebook groups and things of that nature who were made up of the very people she could've asked for help. She can't lie herself out of the fucking bathtub lol

I’ve had some medical training; anyone who has had even minor exposure to that should a) know the importance of being as highly trained as possible for whatever specialized situation you can anticipate, and b) know how easy it is to find adoption education and training programs, parenting classes, etc, especially in the age of everyone having a smart phone! What kind of psycho ignores countless professionals and experienced parent advice when it comes to bringing home a CHILD (and surrounding them with unfamiliar people that don’t share the ethnicity or culture)?! This woman is beyond gross. I understand that she needs to financially support her family, but she should accept that it is no longer appropriate to proceed with this route of family vlogging. I recall a good many prayers I've prayed that went unanswered. I'm not trying to get into a debate about religion, my point is merely that praying, as I understand it, is basically asking God to strengthen your hands while you get to work making things happen. Like 'Please Lord, give me the strength to raise these kids' or something, you can't just sit back, you still have to do the parenting. Praying for a future is like praying for winning the lottery. If you're not going to be able to put your own effort into it, I just don't see the prayer ever getting answered. And if the prayer does get answered, it will be because the new parents put in a shitload of effort as well as Hux himself, not her prayer.
