I was the armour curator at the Museum for 39 years. Running vehicles include the 1924/1940 Crossley Armoured car ,SA Recce car Mk 1. Mk3, Mk 4 and Mk 6. The universal carrier was also restored to running condition as was the Chev 15 cwt, Saraccen, Eland 60 , Eland 90, Ratel 20. The Autoblinda 40 and CV 35 were alslo o restored but not to running condition.
I went here in the early 60s with My WW2 Father, Northern Irish, fought in WW2 with South African army in North Africa and the Monte Casino Italy, wounded. I served in the SAAF and see aircraft here from my days Buccaneer and Mirage. Look I appreciate your video , for seeing this Museum in in me home town in England on me WI Fi , but that music stinks . What the fk did we suffer for the likes of you.

This is still one of the best war museums in the world. I first went there 55 years ago and many times afterwards and it still thrills me to this day
Question how is the state off our captured armored vehicle s 4:50
I spent 39 years getting the vehicles in the best possible condition with the resources we had.
I was there today this place is really a gem with some wonderful pieces. They have a ME 262 which is pretty rare next to the FW 190
Yes, they're in amazing condition, as is the me109
Possibly the WORST music you could have chosen for a MILITARY museum video.
and annoying as fuck
The day in August before the annual SAAAC Fair
Is it not SAFFC

Yeah, the music is pretty awful - thank goodness for the mute button!
