Because Filipinos and African came from the decendants of Peleg ( African ) and Joktan ( Filipinos) from the lineage of Shem in the bible. We are brothers by blood. That is the deeper meaning of it.
It’s very sad because many in the Philippines , unless you’re directly foreign, have Aeta blood in them. Our invaders hid this side of us from us for such a long time. These are our Roots.

This is the most beautiful commercial ive ever seen ❤❤❤ i was crying the entire video 😭😭 alot of lessons to learn from. Such a powerful commercial 👍 KUDOS!
At my age maraming kabataang ginagawang katatawanan yung mga nakikita nilang Aeta, naiinis ako kase ayaw ko maging ganon yung tingin ng mga kabataang pilipino sa mga tulad nila. Tao din sila. This ad really did touched my heart lalo na yung mga sinabi ng nanay nya. 🙌 for Norman King
Ito yung pinaka magandang patalastas na napanuod ko. The best sobra. Inspirational.. Buti nalang nakita ko to dahil sa activity namin sa Filipino, nainspire ako lalo
Beautiful Ad Safeguard Philippines... i just hope that when you use these aetas as product endorsers, they have been paid "reasonably" as what celebrity endorsers are getting paid for and you're not simply using these people by concealing a "great message" by emotionally blackmailing your audience to purchase your product while you rake more money with your sales... i don't know them, but I hope that if these people are real aetas, i do hope that when they get back to their town, they are going to expect a "better life" more than just that diploma... because that diploma is not going to make any difference really and it's merely a backup plan on having a better life, but what you financially make as a functioning individual in society will need "realistic" funding. So hopefully, you guys figured out the payment for them can put up a... let's say a business maybe... can enable them to at least buy a tractor and a 5 hectare land?
people didn't see the "irony" in the AD. it is telling people to "be proud of who they are" and yet... his name is Norman King. he is more African looking than a native Aeta. his name is not Filipino nor Aeta. so what is Norman King really? we all know advertisers will do everything just for the sake of profit. what's more amazing is that... viewers just concentrated on the "drama" aspect of it and didn't even notice his name. is he Fil-American black? the name says it all.
@VeNuS2910 you cannot deny someone's identity because of their appearance. a lot of filipinos look so pale and you may assume that they are of chinese or korean background. you are simply being ignorant. also, there might be reasons as to why his last name king. he might have changed it himself who knows. i'm here wondering why are you so suspicious about his identity? why would he fake his identity when he was literally been given a hard life for it? take a look at yourself.
They have lived in the highlands, mountains, wide natural space that are difficult to reach (Zambales, Philippines). They need roads, transportation, equal opportunities and laws that protect them from discrimination. After all they are the original inhabitants of the islands of the Philippines. They own the whole archipelago.
Can you atleast appreciate Safeguard for making this commercial? They did their best to make this and to inspire many people around the world. And you’re only here just to comment about the money the aetas get. I’m not really an expert about payments, money and whatever but I’m sorry if i used the wrong words lol.
@@VeNuS2910 he looks native aeta: the stature, eyes and facial structure are similar to those I've encountered on panay. I'm filipino on both sides and as dark as him so skin colour is not an indicator. Many of us (even non aeta) are darker than we think once we stop bathing in eskinol and gluthione. Also, our names are a reflection our multiple colonizers and oustide migrations (spain, Britain, America, Japanese occupation, chinese, etc.) and many aetas were named by western scientists doing studies so his name is not a solid arguing point either. Before you are so quick to give a conspiracy theory think through your arguing points first especially if you are undermining someone's struggle. This reflects on you. Prayers and blessings ✌️
I vividly remember when I was in elementary, near the banga of his mother ( my lola), my father while looking at my hair and pointing at my hair said that i got it from his lolo who is an aeta. Though my father’s relatives all looked like sepois, i believed him. And so, everytime when people are fascinated with my hair, i proudly told them that i got it from my lolo who is an aeta. Though, they may looked at me as fair, (i got it from mom’s side whose mom is half spanish half chinese) i knew from the bottom of my heart of hearts, i am an aeta too. I knew that evertime i am facing the mirror and would see my curly hair, that with out my aeta ancestor, i wouldn’t be here. I am never ashamed that i have my grandfather’s blood. I am forever grateful that i have his blood.
I usually skip ads when watching a vid but this was an exception.
This ad really did touched my heart lalo na yung mga sinabi ng nanay nya. 🙌 for Norman King

Prayers and blessings ✌️

i cried. very touching. nice one safeguard!
I’ve watched this before and I went back to watch it again, I can’t hold back my tears.
For the first time I did not skip ad. Congrats Norman! :)
Indeed an awakening commercial! I'm proud of my tribe, proud to be an aeta
