Hey Brendan ! Monsieur Le Guzzi speaking !! It was absolutely fantastic to enjoy those twisty roads and stunning landscapes with you and your beautiful Daisy, that made the road even more enjoyable ! And God, I had to give everything to keep up with your speed 😂 As you know (but as your viewers do not know), I happened to also have a camera on me while I was riding behind you ; and know I promised you to send you this video by email so you can use it or just enjoy it, but for a reason that I can’t explain my computer won’t recognize my GoPro for a couple of weeks now, so I just can’t find a way to export that video (maybe on my phone, but I don’t have enough free storage on it for now…). I’m doing my best to fix that problem, and I promise you I will send you that video as soon as it is done !! Cheers mate, and thanks for showing me in that awesome video✌️
Glad you found the video Huguette! 😁 The funny part is when I said "Monsieur Le Guzzi" I didn't know you actually were French yet! 😆 No worries about the footage, I was wondering if I gave you the wrong e-mail address. 😅 Good to know yourself and the Guzzi made it back home safely! Was great to meet you 😄
Absolutely wonderful to relive some of the roads we covered. But we missed those tunnels and lots of other stuff. Such a beautiful land you live in, and for the gateway view I am very grateful. Thank you Bullet, that was the perfect start to the weekend. Although I am rather jealous of your playground 😎
Bantry bay, busy with Frenchmen in 1796 :) Lovely part of the World. A friend of mine was over there with his guitar and would sing and play in a pubs on the way, Well he got to Bantry and the landlord said you can have room and board if you stay for a few nights and entertain his patrons. Fine he thought, the thing is he was there almost a week as he seemed to have "lost" his car keys, eventually his keys "reappeared" :) It was a memorable trip for another reason, it was there that he met his future wife, and one day after they were safely married, she admitted that the landlord had asked her to "look after" his car keys, as he had been selling tickets locally for the "concert" in his pub. Tricky folk in Bantry, this was about 1978 :) My word, that is fantastic road trip, lovely scenery.
Absolutely fabulous Mr Wanderer; beautiful part of the world, there'e nowhere better than Ireland IMO. Hopefully you'll get to Galway, Mayo, Sligo before long. Ride safe and take care Brendan.
Had a girlfriend who's family lived just outside ardgroom village in Co Cork. Used to go over and bring the peat in for the grandparents every summer in the 90's. Fell in love with the place. Haven't been there since 97. Would love to take the bullet over on the ferry and brave the healy pass again. Maybe one day❤ keep doing what your doing. Brings back memories it does.
I've had to stop halfway through the video to comment because it's made me so happy! Tis a beautiful part of the world, on a fantastic day on the most suited bike for the trip. You're a very lucky man, you russet haired roamer. I haven't seen yet if you went through/ past, Ladies View ? That's not a million miles away from there I.I.R.C, but your comment about everywhere looking so big, is so spot on. I must try to make time and get down there again sometime. Keep up the good work. Now, back to your film.
Beautiful coastal countryside, perfect 'Bullet' country, hopefully l can get over to Ireland next year on my Classic Trials 500. Thanks for the tour, great video.....🙂
Absolutely brilliant video Brendan. Myself and a few friends were based in Kinsale to tour the Kerry/West Cork peninsulas at the end of May and rode the same roads. Thanks for bringing it all back, we’ll have to go again, as you say best roads in Ireland.
I’ve just watched Mr Saddlebags reading the Healy pass I think it was called, along with this road you’re riding I’m astonished 😦 such spectacular scenery and unlike in England pothole free 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Brendan. It’s been lovely watching todays video , particularly as today I picked up Bella. A round trip of 960kms to the north of Italy and back home to central Italy. Lovely guy who sold his Bullet to me, bought us lunch and gave us four bottles of Prosecco. 480 Kms on Italian autostradas was not the most fun motorcycling I’ve ever done. However the last 10km to my town were fantastic!
Wow, that's some great Italian hospitality! Great way to celebrate Bella's arrival 😁 Fair play to you, sounds like a long drive back home on the autostrada!
Well Brendan, you've done it again! Transported me back to my pre-covid coach driving days on the Ring of Kerry...Molls Gap etc. The most amazing biking roads I've never ridden.....yet! What I wouldn't give to be back at The Eviston House Hotel in Killarney.... one day soon hopefully, but on two wheels (once I've got my Spanish series finished) Gap of Dunloe here we come! Thanks again for these videos. 👍
Navigating by bike is fairly easy, but by coach! You must be very skilled on these tight turns, fair play 😁 Thanks Martin! Hope you find the time to make it out there 😄
Really beautiful. I'm glad the weather improved as you went along. My wish is to be back there: I last cycled up the Gap from the other direction in 1992; there were a lot less people then but plenty of pony and traps!
What else can be said? Fabulous! Of course. 😉 Eventhough there are several differencies regarding the vegetation and geological aspects, the montainious part of your ride depicted in the video remind me of some locations in the interior of Rio de Janeiro state (not the city) where we may find lovely winding and narrow roads like those ones in Ireland. They are something like a motorcycling heaven. Congratulations for your channel and for your always respectful and polite attitude. Best regards from Brazil to you and to Daisy Bell from a fellow motorcyclist.✌
Excellent weather to ride the Gap of Dunloe. Did you get a chance to ride Ballaghbeama Gap? It, in my humble opinion, has a more splendid view and some very nice curves. So nice, I circled around and did it again. Both Kerry and Cork have some of the best riding I have ever experienced.
Unfortunately not this time! But I plan to head back to cover more of the roads out here when I have the time. So Ballaghbeama Gap will be up there on the list, thanks for the suggestion 😁
Great vidio brendon, Just keep them coming you are showing us Ireland as It realy Is,by the way did you get side stand Bolt which kept coming out fixed.
I had a Cozy sidecar on my 1st Classic 500. It was a really fun hack. Pretty small sidecar, best suited for children, small women and dogs. My brother's Jack Russell "Harry" loved riding in it and he hated motorcycles. I would take my Japanese neighbor to work in it and she would wave to everyone like she was the Queen herself.
What a fantastic video Brendan between cars vans and buses letting daisy pass not to mention daisy flashing at you😊, fàilte ireland should be paying you for showing off ireland in this way. I have classic 350 and a beagle, (pepper) just need a sidecar too great work!
Good ole Freddie 😂 I prefer a more cautious "sure tis not too bad" personally 😜 Loving your videos even more since being out of the country. Welcome wesht where whiskey is best indeed 🥲❤️🥰
That is some lovely roads there, yet another reminder for me to venture more to the south whesjht in the future, but I dare to say there are some roads in Mayo (around Castebar - Croaghmoyle Mountain) and even Sligo ( around Benbulbin mountain) to rival it, but fair enough - I see you struggle to drop too much footage on the edit floor - its one of those, right? 😁 at least you got some proper weather unlike some people who come up and create this illusion of a sunny Ireland in their videos and then feck off back to Cornwall 😁
Haven't made my way up to Sligo and Mayo to be fair, so i'll have to ride those roads to truly judge 😁 yes, they left me the last drop of the good weather in Kerry, how kind 😆
Greetings from sunny Greece! Great video! The Bullet is a fantastic bike. When I ride mine I always allow a couple of minutes for the engine to warm up at idle speed
What was that jingling noise? Did you out one of those bells on your bike. My OCD was kicking in. Lol... another great video. So much to see and appreciate. Wish I could take my 2012 c5 classic 500 over there and ride.
To be honest with the Bullet it could be any number of things 😆 I'm hoping it was just the keychain jingling against the bars, though it could be the baffle in the exhaust as it's a bit free floating 😅 Cheers!
I have a 500 with the Cozy sidecar... I would thing as narrow as your roads are.. it'd be..,,,, entertaining ! The video reminds me of some of the roads in SW Wisconsin.. narrow. one lane bridges and with a large Amish presence .... plenty of " road apples ". 😎
West Cork and Kerry are beautiful, but I can't understand a word country Kerry people say, they may as well be talking Estonian to my thick English ears. The roadside fuel pump is something we've lost. They were quite common at one time, with an arm that carried the fuel line over the pavement so pedestrians could walk through. Spent a lot of time in Cork over the years.
Afraid it's just the one microphone recording audio in the helmet I have, Richard; plenty of channels already out there that do amazing exhaust-note only travels with Bullet 500s though. 😄 As for the music, tried to match it to the West Ireland vibe, but I do have other videos with a little ambient jazz, some of the French ones e.g. In future videos I will try and 'let Daisy speak for herself' at times. Appreciate the feedback 👍

Cheers Saddlebags 😁 I barely even touched on some of the fantastic roadways you and Mark rode through, must get to them next time 😁
I’m slowly watching all these. I’m blown away by each and every one.
After the previous days weather and road conditions you deserved the dry roads and blue skies.🤗
Wow. How lovely is that country and weather. The sun always shines on the blessed.
Just to say... I really enjoy your Bullet Wanderings... Ireland looks great for touring on the Enfield ...👍
Thanks Laurie! Ireland is great for the Enfields 😄
What wonderful roads, views are spectacular. Job well done 👍

What a story! 😄 Must've been quite the guitar player 😁
Absolutely fabulous Mr Wanderer; beautiful part of the world, there'e nowhere better than Ireland IMO. Hopefully you'll get to Galway, Mayo, Sligo before long. Ride safe and take care Brendan.
The three of them are on the bucket list 😁 Cheers Mr Gadsby!
Another great video. Inspires me to get away from my desk and get out on my bike. Thanks! :)

You definitely should! As you can see, its perfect Bullet country 😁 Glad to stir up some old memories!
The royal enfield is like the perfect bike for those roads.
I'm absolutely loving the winding roads and wide open spaces ❤. Amazing
Cheers John!

The Classic Trials 500 would be right at home here 😄
When you get the weather, Ireland looks like nothing else. Good work on the video. Keep it up!
WoW Ireland is so beautiful it’s definitely on my list to visit 👍🏍 , Daisy looking very good😊
What a super different take on motorcycling beautiful scenery and gentle riding, very calming, thanks
Thanks Chris! Glad you enjoyed it 😄

Thanks Gareth! Kinsale is fantastic too, didn't get a chance to head there on this trip, though I have visited on Daisy before 😄
Yep have heard good thinks about Kinsale, my wife fancies a visit but that won’t be by bike, mostly sampling food and drink. 👍
I’ve just watched Mr Saddlebags reading the Healy pass I think it was called, along with this road you’re riding I’m astonished 😦 such spectacular scenery and unlike in England pothole free 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Beautiful video!
Thanks Matt!

Enjoyed the video. Great views, and that Bullet soundtrack 👌 Ride safe 👍

Thank you Felipe , that’s very kind 😁 the roads in Rio de Janeiro sound fabulous too 😆 someday I’d love to take Daisy to ride them!
@@BulletWanderer
You and your beloved Daisy Bell would be more than wellcomed here in Brazil.
Take care Brendan. ✌
What a great video. I have done this route many times working between Tralee and Bantry. Happy memories. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it and it brought back good memories 😁

Ordered a bolt from Hitchcocks, but found out that I'd ordered a bolt too short 😅 Whoops! The right bolt is on its way now, I hope 🤞
Marvellous.

Wonderful, thanks😎
To quote my dear friend Mr Saddlebags72 "some pretty". I also love the Caha beautiful road, that was Bruce on the combination, nice chap.
I had a feeling you might know the combination driver 😆 Lucky fella!
Fantastic video, Thanks from Spain
Glad you enjoyed it! 😁
What a fantastic video Brendan between cars vans and buses letting daisy pass not to mention daisy flashing at you😊, fàilte ireland should be paying you for showing off ireland in this way. I have classic 350 and a beagle, (pepper) just need a sidecar too great work!
Thanks Anthony! I agree with you there, would be great if Fáilte sponsored me 😆 Pepper's a great name for a Beagle!
Nice 🤠🤠🤠
Good ole Freddie 😂 I prefer a more cautious "sure tis not too bad" personally 😜 Loving your videos even more since being out of the country. Welcome wesht where whiskey is best indeed 🥲❤️🥰

Hello from Ireland to Sunny Greece! 😁 I imagine its a fantastic country to explore by Bullet, i'm very jealous!! 😄
So entertaining to watch Brendan. Loved this video. Think I’m going to give up my tv licence, too much quality stuff, such as yours on TH-cam
You're too kind 😄!
What was that jingling noise? Did you out one of those bells on your bike. My OCD was kicking in. Lol... another great video. So much to see and appreciate. Wish I could take my 2012 c5 classic 500 over there and ride.

Such a lovely road! Oddball approves and wants to play! Need to work on my plans for a "moto-teleporter" so I can get the both of us across the pond.
I agree! 😁 Oddball would love it.
Beautiful 😍
Cheers! 😁
FABULOUS!!😂❤

Hadn't heard that term before for the 'evidence of horses' as I called it 🤣
" road apples " for horses... because they remind one of apples.... " Cow pies " for cattle.. because it looks like a pie... :)@@BulletWanderer
WoW Elias

To be fair, I sometimes struggle with the same 😆 They can be wonderfully musical accents, but not so coherent at the same time 😅
Galway the coast road to Spiddal .nice ride.. at least it was 30 years ago...😂
It's on my bucket list 😁 We'll see how it holds up before too long I hope! 🤞
What’s that grass or flower in your handle bar wire? lol😊
It is (or rather, was!) a Montbretia wildflower, thought it gave Daisy a bit of a pop 😆
Well it certainly did👍💐
Brendan, your commentary is too loud and the exhaust sound too low, and maybe a little ambient jazz music would be nice.
