This is brilliant!! Have you or anyone tried this in a shallow inshore saltwater fishing environment? The pwc setup is awesome, but kind of a bummer in the shallows because of the impeller it seems. Would this solve the issue?
since trollskii closed I'm trying to build my own if possible, could you make a template of the side mounting plates for me. I'd be happy to pay toy for the trouble.
It is perfect for spot lock but also has a north button. Say you want to troll a bank, you can set your speed and pint the direction and it will stay on course. Keep the ski off and don’t have to worry about steering
@@hookdup1927 I agree. Not a cheap setup and it has totally been my guilty pleasure. I have more in this ski than I do my truck. But, I work my butt off and this ski is the nicest thing I have ever gotten for myself.

We have had ours in key west. Pretty shallow there, but only deploy when deep enough

I just made one with some aluminum tubing and a metal plate. Less than $200 if you have the tools and welding equipment
They should install one with all the idf models for when they break

I have three 12 volt batteries in the cooler. Plan on lightening the load with a lithium battery this season

@@Soggydoggyfishing its quite an expensive setup . 1800$ for the mount , 1500$ for the trolling motor , 700$ for A liFePo 100ah battery thats 4000$
