So the number on the screen stands for the quality of water being filtered? Did I understand that correctly. Also, do I have throw away the water every time once it reaches the dotted line after 1 or 2 filter cycles OR only when a flush if done? If so, that's a lot of waste. I'm unclear on this.
On the lite model, the TDS shows the output levels (not input). Yes, you have to throw that water out after it reaches the line every time. It has a 1:3 waste-pure water ratio. That's somewhat typical for any RO system.
Thanks for the video! I've found the carafe to be super thin; I would never buy such thin glass and expect to buy replacements for $30. Also, on the 3rd of 4 flushes, it kept going after the carafe was already filled, slowly too, so keep an eye on that.
This system is on sale at Amazon for about $209 but I needed some extra convincing to jump on it. Your review was succinct yet covered everything I needed to know and then some. Thank you!
I can also appreciate the fact that this system is NSF part 58 certified. Great review.

I haven't had any issues with it so far! I'll keep my fingers crossed!
What about the taste? Is it good now all the dissolved particles are filtered out?
Tastes really good! Very crisp
how do u feel bout bottle water
Bottled water can still have a lot of disinfection byproducts so filtered tap is usually better quality (and better for the environment)
@@VictoriaDorsano ya bc of the reduced plastics

You’re welcome! I genuinely love it.
