The Queen is just remarkable! The very fact that she has to, at 92 years of age, to walk what looks like a MILE from the entrance to the Abbey to her "place" and has to chat up people all the way in AND all the way out! She's just amazing!!

I am an American but I have to say honestly that I LOVE the UK and the Royal Family. A lifelong dream came true last year as I got to visit wonderful London for three weeks! I want to go back so badly...we are making plans...God save the Queen AND the UK

Being a citizen of the United States I love the traditions that you hold. The Queen is a beautiful lady inside and out. Prince Charles looks very happy with Duchess Camilla. She’s been given thousands of bouquets from kids during her time as Queen, yet the way she smiles, greets, and thanks these kids when they hand the flowers to her- you’d think it’s the first time it ever happened. Just so gracious and kind. That smile of hers is really something special. And can be quite mischievous which I love 🇺🇸☺️🇬🇧

The Queen is so stylish, I don't know how she does it. She's managed to develop her own unique and recognisable style but still somehow she always seems to have a fresh look. She also wears clothes in keeping with her age and position but doesn't look in the least like an old fuddy duddy. People half her age could wear her outfits and still look vibrant (apart from the shoes maybe 😉). Maybe it's her beautiful smile and the twinkle in her eye that really makes the outfits!

Certainly the Queen doesn't dresses herself, which means she probably has an assistant who documents for her the what, when and where, she wore this or that while keeping all the clothing separated by color and with matching hats, her jewelry as well. While documenting the last time she wore what and where she wore it to. This has to be someone who knows the Queen rather well and probably has been working for her a very long time.

We all saw him tell her what was going on etc and heard how the Queen organised for her assistant and private secretary, Samantha Cohen, to teach her about royal protocol. Now she says no one helped her. This woman lies even when she is going to be easily found out. I have struck someone like that before. It is a personality disorder and consequently it is not curable (except in the very rare instance that an afflicted person realises it and accepts help).

This ceremony was for anyone who wish to partake in it, for the selfish and ignorant ones need to realize this ceremony was all about Love, Equality, Diversity and Peace and that is bigger than any Commonwealth or Country, The music spoke in volume in this ceremony so the Nay Sayers need to listen to the lyrics of John Mayer's Song Waiting for the world to change and Bridge over troubled water and the ask God to change your hearts and minds ,Thank God the Queen believe in all of that. 🙏

I truly find the royal family fascinating. I have deep respect for each of them. I admire how through all their trials and tribulations they carry themselves with such dignity. It was a pleasure to see The Duke of York and The Princess Royal.Only recently I had thought to myself that I had not seen either of them in quite some time. Here in the States the news generly has stories of HRH The Queen, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, honestly I am not certain of Prince Harry's title and Meghan. The sadness in the Queen's eyes makes me want to cry. This is the first time she has experienced this event without Prince Phillip by her side. You know she must be wondering if this will be the last one she herself will see, God forbid.
I pray She has the longevity of her Mother and is with us for a time to come. Dare I say long enough to make William the next King. Then I feel the Monarchy will be safe and she can go to her rest happy and content that She served her people well all the days of her life.

It's really quite something. As a Canadian, I'm glad we're in the Commonwealth. Amazing for an American to be part of this, on that level.
I am American and I wish we were members too... I was at this annual service back in 1995. I just happened to go by the Abbey when I saw a small crowd, and noticed the Abbey was closed. I walked over and asked a policeman who was extremely kind and helpful. He told me the service was going on inside, and that they would be coming out in about 50 minutes or so. I grabbed a place on the fencing and waited. It was a ton of fun - all the Brits were very chatty, loved to see an America there. After about 45 minutes, probably a crowd of about 15,000 people was in the area around the Abbey. I had a front row seat. Suddenly. school children lined up on both sides of the walkway out of the church. Ten minutes later all of a sudden, all the bells in the tower rang, and out came the queen. I was totally blown away. She spoke to each of the children. AND, I watched later, many of the congregants were military. Lo and behold, out came an Australian chatting with an American officer as they left. I thought, perhaps we Americans are sort of " junior members" or something. A great experience.

The Queen Mother was a commoner, and definitely British. Diana was more British than Charles, therefore William and Harry have her genes.
