This is actually a really awesome game, I've keep watching the kripp for many years and the interactions in Hearthstone are becoming really great, I'm pretty satisfied with HS after years of playing. Good job on this one blizz, really, this is a great expansion so far.
Best part about the deck is that if you get a good starting hand and draws, you can trick your opponent into thinking you're using a zoolock deck of some kind causing them to start panicking when you reveal the quest XD
Before anyone asks: yes by discarding it and having 2 soulwardens, you can get 2 nether portals. And yes, this is incredibly unfair in the rare case it happens and will appear on trolden when it happens
Those were 2 amazing games ! Even when you discarded the portal you still managed to get it back. The lifesteal taunt minion plays a great role in this deck by making you gain back the health you lost from tapping. I'm looking forward to more highlights of this deck against other control decks.

When the opponent used the hellfire to kill his self @ 3:50 i said what this doesn't work like that. Then lolled when my face and the Krip look identical.
played against a discard warlock that used cataclysm on turn 4 quest on turn 5...couldn't do much about it. What do u think of having that card in this deck?
Not just 2, more like 3 at the very least. Usually when you play a discard card you go -2, having 2 less card in your hand. But with the legendary you go +0, which is HUGE difference. Ofc Clutch mother made it a -1 and not -2 but drawing her before then was such a pain it wasn't consistent at all. It should also be noted that the new cards having the ability to essentially let you target a card you want to discard makes this much more tolerable. The soulwarden lets you just completely capable of gaining back the resources that you lost playing those discard cards. Suddenly, with these cards, the consistency of discarding a more specific card, the value gained back, ofc the deck becomes much better. The quest itself and Discard cards generally having higher value also really helps then. It is just really solid, you have value, consistency, versatility, draw power, it is a solid package of things.

It doesn't look that fast to beat aggro consistently... It seems really good against other midrange, it looks ok against control. It probably loses big time against combo tho.

I was thinking the same thing, but there is a reason. His next lowest card was a 3 drop that discards, and he didn't want to lose any of those cards. Coin was the least valuable card in his hand, so he let it be discarded.

@@noidea2568 Ah, you're right. I didn't see the flame imp. The only possible reason then is that he wanted to maximize the number of discards. If he played librarian, the imp would be discarded, but it was already getting discarded at the end of turn anyway. This was the only play to ensure that 3 cards were discarded.

i've been running into this deck all day at rank 5 and it's eating my shit for lunch. Odd Mage and new OTK pally were best against it with a whopping 40% winrate against this deck. it's literally cancer.
Anyone else noticed that in the game against the dragon warrior the first soulwarden gives him fungal mancer, the coin and a howlfiend (in that order) and the second one gives him fungal mancer, the portal and a howlfiend (in that order). I'm an idiot that notices those things and finds them hilarious XD

Should be able to yea. It just says "card you discarded this game" so if the RNG hits just right you'd get two if you played two souldwardens after discarding it. That's inherently very unpredictable of course, you'd probably have a lot more luck just playing quest normally.
