I got Gonk as my legendary and was very disappointed... ...this has intrigued me Update: I have a positive win percentage with this deck (15-11) surprisingly and even if I didn't, it's still really fun to play.
Already saw the potential in Gonk So When I got him not even disappointed just More Excited to be able to smack my opponent Face with mine for 5+ Times

no, moral of the story is, if you still didn't learn that going wide against druid is stupid, then you deserve to lose to a trash card like gonk. Why wouldn't you go tall against druid? you afraid of naturalize?
I see a lot of people saying they are upset they disenchanted Gonk (because they got it out of a pack or for free).. Let me tell you a little secret NEVER DISENCHANT LEGENDARIES, no matter how bad they are or how much dust you need at the time... Hearthstone will never give you a duplicate legend unless you own all the legends for that set, so by keeping it you guarantee future legends to be different.. You also only get 1/4th the dust back (400) from disenchanting which means you lose 3/4 of a legend card only to be able to pull it out of a pack again later and be sad.. and you roughly get a legend every 20-30 packs (40 if bad rng).. So this means if you disenchant a legendary and open it again in a pack you just wasted the time/money opening 20-30 packs to get the same legend plus the 1200 dust loss you acquired when disenchanting it.

@@yun2042 I think it's pretty clear that it should stack via "may attack again" and honestly we've seen how reluctant they are to make changes like that as long it isnt breaking the mechanics of the game like the Priest animation abuse. This is just malygos 2.0 and is made easier to pull off by Druid's already insane cards. I dont know what Blizzard will or wont do, but honestly i hope they dont change this interaction, it would make no sense to me.
to be fair they prob did not intent this interaction and actualy wanted to give druid a weak set. ( and even with this interaction the other druid combos are prob more consistent)

How is this OP or anything new? He just put the same 25 OP druid cards and changed the win condition-combo cards.. big deal. There's like 3-4 different combo druids with the exact same cards..

Gonk himself is fine. The fact that his effect can stack however, is not. Either Blizzard are complete idiots for thinking that this was okay to allow or they themselves didn't realize that their own card would work this way.
You're winning with Floop-Gonk because it's a part of the most broken, unstoppable and un-interactive OTK combo deck that will soon be the rank 1 deck in meta. That's assuming my message to Blizzard telling them to make the interaction to neuter Gonk doesn't cause them to fix it first. Also...um...idk. :P
uninteractive and unstoppable? Just don't flood the board with low health minion on late game. don't give them a chance to gonk. It seems pretty interactive to me.

The hunter totally would have won if he didn't play his 10 mana hero. Anyway I think the issue is more with the druid core than this win condition in particular that seems less strong than other druid win conditions...

I don't know if this was already known but I found something kind of interesting in the Paladin Class. Steward of Darkshire gives tigers summoned by Spirit of the Tiger divine shield even if it ends up being having more than 1-1.
That is interesting. Does that mean the tigers register as 1-1 and then shift into the new stats while still being the same minion? However it works it's a strange interaction.
I love how they programmed Gonk to "give the player +1 more opportunity to attack with face after killing a minion with face" instead of "after killing a minion with face, opportunity to attack with face = 1."

14:39 was exact lethal even with just double gonk and swipe. Play double gonk, double pounce, claw and hero power to go to 8 attack, kill the 2 taunts, hit face for 8 once, breaking the twig, then swipe face, kill the rest of the minions and hit face for 7 four more times. Thats 8+4+7+7+7+7= exactly 40 damage

So there are 2 ways I can see to "beat" this deck. 1) put them at too low a health threshold to be able to stack enough hits to the face 2) play too few minions to stack enough gonkage or high enough hp minions to not be able to smack but that it pretty hard since 3+2+2+2+2+1 (twig 2x pounce 2x claw 1x DK hero power) comes out to 12 damage so you'd only need 3 shots to face 0_0

Try adding leeroy. It gives you 2 free gonk targets so your opponent cant play around you. And its 6 face.

Now with the addition of this deck, you have to play not triple but quadruple win condition druid
14:39 was exact lethal even with just double gonk and swipe. Play double gonk, double pounce, claw and hero power to go to 8 attack, kill the 2 taunts, hit face for 8 once, breaking the twig, then swipe face, kill the rest of the minions and hit face for 7 four more times. Thats 8+4+7+7+7+7= exactly 40 damage

ok on hindsight tho, this video has so many "missplays" that couldve altered the results but luckily they didn't matter. Still, the video is great.

If anyone doesnt have prince, just use Faceless its pretty good too. I made this version where i swtiched innervate for Arcanes and prince for faceless. 2 days ago:)

So there are 2 ways I can see to "beat" this deck.
1) put them at too low a health threshold to be able to stack enough hits to the face
2) play too few minions to stack enough gonkage or high enough hp minions to not be able to smack but that it pretty hard since 3+2+2+2+2+1 (twig 2x pounce 2x claw 1x DK hero power) comes out to 12 damage so you'd only need 3 shots to face 0_0
@MrXplicatt that's the plan for my deck Leroy For in case they get the cheeky idea I also Play the 2/3 Deathrattle give opponent 0/3 Which I can Naturalized for MORE ATK
I guess nobody expected gonks to stack. That makes It a Very dangerous card indeed
