If you're ever curious about Shunsui and his Bankai dynamic, watch the filler, Zanpakuto Rebellion arc. Not only does she appear there, but her relationship with Shunsui is like a married couple. 😂
For those that don't know, there is a filler arc in bleach where zanpaktous manifested their true form and went berserk because of a rogue zanpaktou and we saw Shunsui's zanpaktou manifest in that. Same design and everything
I would not call The zanpakuto rebellion arc filler. The story itself is probably filler but all the zanpakuto designs are canon. Kubo himself drew all of them. It’s crazy you’re literally the only reactor to pick up that he’s a biblically accurate angel, and also in the Bible it says when one sees a angel they tremble in fear which is why shunsui said he couldn’t move
Shunsui also tells a story with his Bankai if you’re interested. 3:31 Why does Kyouraku have that Shikai and Bankai? It can be inferred that Shikai and Bankai reflect two distinct parts of the shinigami. Something like their outer vs inner self, body and mind, or many other similar concepts. One great example is Soi Fon. Her outer and inner self go different ways. She has a Shikai that represents her desire, the mask she puts on. Compact, stealthy, perfect for what she wants as her prided position as chief of the stealth force. But she has a Bankai that is a big and heavy missile launcher, which goes contrary to the earlier concepts and instead shows her loud, hot-headed personality. In Kyouraku's case, his abilities show the contrast of children's games vs a serious performance, with his Shikai showing his playful and easygoing side that he always puts on display, and his Bankai being about a theater play that is serious, heavy, dark and dramatic, leaning into the side of him he doesn't openly show. Also, I love Kyouraku's relationship with his zanpakutou, Katen. It's so unique and interesting. It gives me a vibe like Araragi with Shinobu (a GOAT relationship from a GOAT anime). Kyouraku calls Katen "Ohana". The "Ka" is the character for "flower", which can be read as "Hana". The "o" is an old prefix that used to be added before women's names, hence "Ohana", he's basically calling her flower. Katen calls him Sakuranosuke, which is his second name.
[Tidbits][Lotta Reading] - The Game Shunsui is playing at the start called “Daruma-san ga Koronda” is basically red-light green-light - Lille Barro’s ability of “Intangibility” was hinted at when he fought Oetsu, If you recall Oetsu at one point attempted to slash him yet the blade went through. [As an aside, the battle between the 0 Squad and the Schutzstaffel gave at least 1 hint at each member's ability, so for those interested you can go back and watch that battle and see how they did it] - Many fans have mixed feelings on Lille’s Volstanding look, however, I think it’s very fitting when you understand what Kubo is going for. Quincy obviously have biblical influence, Lille upon his transformation gains 4 pairs of wings, meaning in regards to the bible he’d be a Seraphim (Angels with 8 Wings) [Seraphim angels are primarily responsible for constantly praising and worshipping God, specifically by repeatedly proclaiming "Holy, Holy, Holy" while circling around the throne of God, signifying their intense devotion to God's holiness; their main function is to glorify God through their unceasing worship and remind others of God's sacred nature.] - We finally see why Shunsui couldn’t use his Bankai when he fought Starrk. Those within the area would have been pulled into it and it would have killed several of his allies. I feel it’s a very fitting Bankai in that it somewhat mimics the dangerous aspects of Yama’s who also couldn’t use his Bankai however he pleased. (Some lines are removed that better express what Shunsui Bankai feels like, it seemingly instills negative emotions conjuring a sense of darkness, dread, and despair. It’s chilling and makes even the most stubborn characters uncomfortable) - Shunsui’s Bankai is a Play (A Kabuki Play to be specific) with the opponent being a performer and it’s composed of 3 Acts. A play can’t go on without its performer, therein if the enemy dies during an act, the Bankai will of course end immediately (fans likely questioned this because the title of the chapter covering his Bankai was labeled “The Theatre Suicide”) There is a lot of context revolving around the Play that Shunsui’s Bankai evokes but it would make this comment too long so I opted to cut it. - Anime fans who watched the Zanpaktou Rebellion Filler actually got the opportunity to see Shunsui’s Zanpaktou Spirit a long time ago, but it’s good to see it in canon. - Shunsui's personality often switches swiftly between playful to serious. I believe his Shikai and Bankai represent this well. His Shikai forces people to “Play” children's games, while his Bankai forces you to take part in a Kabuki “Play”. (I feel Shunsui as a character somewhat embodies this, human life is a play, a play in which we are often forced to act, forced to face conflicts no matter what we wish. We’d love to have life be more relaxed and unserious like games, but we know that when the games are done we have to return to reality.) - Sidenote: Nanao being able to keep up with Shunsui’s Shunpo without getting tired is a nod to the Soul Society arc when the opposite occurred. - Sidenote 2: Just a reminder cause I’ve seen some confused comments in other reactions, but Shunsui can in fact (albeit not intentionally) enact several games at once during Shikai - Sidenote 3: Reikaku are the senses used to detect Reiatsu - Sidenote 4: Kabuki plays are about historical events and moral conflict in relationships of the heart. 9:37 Y'know what? You might be one to something! The silhouette at 5:10 definitely resembles his Bankai's (Ohana/Katen) but as a child, and there's already some backing that checks out. Remember Zangetsu? Yes, we know that he takes the form of Yhwach a thousand years ago, but remember when Ichigo trained to learn The Final Getsuga Tensho? He did that while in his Bankai state, when he did, *Zangetsu was much younger.* Although the moment at 5:10 is used as a visual metaphor for what Shunsui's said, I think it would make so much sense if that was Ohana's form when in her Shikai state.
His Zanpakuto has 2 spirits. 1 child and 1 afult. And the silhouette is a visual reference for her childish attitude, not a change like that. His other spirit will be shown soon. The younger spirit represents the powers of his Shikai, making kid's games reality, the older one represents his Bankai, making an adult play come to life.
I like how both head captains yamamoto and shunsui have their bankai in different parts/steps. Yamamoto has north, south, east and west and shunsui has act 1-4.
Here's my head canon. The romance and attempted double suicide actually happened in Shunsui's past. He was a nameless new recruit with an ausuchi when they jumped in the river. He survived, she did not. Instead, she imprinted on the ausuchi and became Katen Kyōkotsu. As for that little girl, he's known as one of the 3 old guard with Yamamoto. He would have known the OG captains making Shunsui 10,000+ years old. It's 100% believable that he would remember that >9,500 year younger version of himself as a foolish child. He was probably a teenager
@@AndreatenthirtyThat’s clearly not what Kubo intended when writing her character. There’s a reason that Kyoraku has such a bizzarre dynamic with his blade, and their relationship in the manga was stated to be “unusual” for a shinigami and his blade. Their exchange literally retraces wedding vows, saying “for better or for worse, till death do us part”. If a man wants to love his sword, let him lmao
@@kytsunee6324 not really... Its a mistranslation. Watch the Zanpakuto Rebellion Arc from the og Bleach. You will learn more about the dynamics between Shunsui and his sword. I remember a scene where he, Ukitake and Ohana were playing some sorts of board/card game and she was beating the other two again and again.
This is actually the first time ever that we see Kyoraku's bankai, in the manga this moment drove fans crazy back in 2016, so many theories concluded with this chapter
After the end of this Cour, I recommend you to watch the Zanpakuto Rebellion Arc and Memories of Nobody Movie. Both have direct references in the manga and anime.
i hope to see different kido spells from kyoraku as well,he has a broken bankai and if he combines that with kido spells it'd be super cool to watch,i think kyoraku should be the one closest to aizen using the kido at extreme levels
We had old man yama's episode in cour 1, Aizen & Grimmjow reveal episode and now this one. This episode might be my favourite so far. Even though Grimmjow is my favourite anime character of all time, Shunsui is also in my top 5 bleach characters. Seeing his bankai come to life from the pages to anime form was sick. Funny that Shunsui was going to use his bankai against Stark and Jushiro said "no"
Shunsui Bankai suppose to mirror Yamamoto Bankai. Everyone feel heat and dryness when Yamamoto about to unleash his Bankai, while with Shunsui everyone feel the atmosphere becoming dark and cold. They will get a chills. Some even starting to shiver. It just show you that Shunsui is really worthy as Head Captain in term of power.
Please check out the comments to this comment since I included a breakdown of all the powers and techniques (including translations and original Japanese text) that appeared in this episode. Hopefully this will prevent TH-cam from getting all full of themselves for my needing to make multiple posts. This episode is too important not to and I'd feel ashamed as a professional reader and analyst not to do this just because TH-cam can't tell the difference between posting multiple comments and posting repeat comments. === Did anyone really believe that Mayuri had so easily defeated a member of Yhwach's Schutzstaffel? === Lille's Spirit Rifle: Diagramm (ディアグラム, Diaguramu; German for "Diagram"; Viz "Diagramme") === Fun Fact: In the original release of Chapter 646, Lille says he is the last Quincy to be given a Schrift. It was changed to first Quincy in Chapter 656. The Japanese release of Volume 71 corrected 646 and changed it to first; however, the official English release of Volume 71 keeps the mistake. I'm glad the anime made sure acknowledge the fixed error. === Lille Barro is a much more accurate take on an Angel than the humanoid with feathered wings you tend to see in modern fiction. This makes sense since the Sternritter are supposed to basically be Angels of God with the Schutzstaffel, Yhwach's Royal Guard, being the equivalent of Archangels. === Unless they decide to adapt some of Can't Fear Your Own World's material then I don't see anime-onlys understanding Irazusando unless they either get told what Kubo has said about it or they look it up. === Shunsui's Shikai brings to life children's games while his Bankai brings to life a Japanese four act play after turning the area into a Japanese theatre. A "Japanese four act play" typically refers to a story structure called "Kishōtenketsu," which consists of four parts: "ki" (introduction), "shō" (development), "ten" (twist), and "ketsu" (conclusion); essentially a unique narrative framework where the central focus is often on a pivotal "twist" rather than a traditional conflict-driven climax. Though the term is Japanese, this structure is rooted in East Asian storytelling traditions, with origins traceable to China. Structure Breakdown: -Ki (Introduction): Sets the scene and introduces the characters. -Shō (Development): Further develops the characters and plot, seemingly following a logical progression. -Ten (Twist): A sudden shift in perspective or unexpected development occurs, marking the central point of the story. -Kets (Conclusion): Ties up loose ends, often with a sense of resolution or reflection, sometimes incorporating elements from the "ten" twist. Unlike a typical western three-act structure where the climax is the main tension point, Kishōtenketsu places more emphasis on the "ten" (twist) as the story's central moment. Kishōtenketsu often focuses on character development and subtle shifts in understanding rather than overt conflict. === I think Shunsui's zanpakuto actually functions similar to Zangetsu in that the spirit changes its age based on its form. Zangetsu gets younger in Bankai form so it makes sense that Katen (nicknamed by Shunsui as Ohana) would be able to get older. This makes sense since the Shikai prefers children's games while the Bankai prefers theatre plays, representing Shunsui's own two sides (one childish, one the mature leader). That would make the other child that showed up the second sword's spirit Kyōkotsu. === I hope people now understand that Ukitake didn't let Shunsui use his Bankai in Fake Karakura Town because it's indiscriminate to his allies and enemies alike. === The second "BABY, HOLD YOUR HAND" was the one I was talking about looking forward to. Last episode had a lot better pacing than I thought and I thought they were going to shove all of it in one episode. That voice in the end credit was Nemu.
Ohana isn't the Bankai or the Shikai, she's the sword's soul itself. And it's the same shadow, when Shunsui started talking to his sword centuries ago he was much younger and so was she.
Dint know about that, they literally hint at him meeting this specific spirit only in bankai. (the occasional bankai isnt so bad, we meet so little,...) also he has another spirit that is a child representing the shikai.
Sleeping with your Zanpakuto is akin to jrking hoff, so its aight. And since ichigo has stabbed his zanpakuto in his inner world, one can only assume shunsui has stabbed his as well....
6:40 LOL that has been a huge issue for many, its the squad 0 plot holes. I think a good way to look at this now is that the power scale has limits. Hollows have a limit, Soul Reapers, Quincies all have a max level. The hybrid characters of the show have a different power scale that is greater over all. However! Like Pokemon, there are weaknesses and strengths, and as we have seen before this show also uses Bankai in a more scientific approach (not just Mayuri) but heat and ice and weight. So physics is another thing that adds advantages to a persons power scale. Then of course, Mayuri, he is literally the guy who made THE CHAIR :P Talk about Batman level plans on plans on plans.... he's like Batmans orderly control, but with Joker morality about it. There are combat tricks, or even for Zaraki, just holding his sword with two hands basically doubled his power in his normal swings. Illusions, poisons, ect ect. Ichigo being 1/3rds of all 3 , naturally will be the closest to soul king power. Squad 0 were all just Soul Reapers, and had to sac them self to go beyond regular Soul Reaper scaling via a heavenly pact or whatever. Had they embraced hollow-fication they would have another option, plan F, before the whole pact thing. I think the message might be "antiquated and outdated ideals" just like how pride killed the old commander. The new generation has to come in, who embrace other aspects outside the laws and order and achieve power through numbers and diversity. Meanwhile, Yhwach, trying to be a revolutionary in the wrong way, is embracing dirty tactics, whatever works, works mentality. Almost seems like This X-axis dude is tapping into a power that isn't 100% Quincy too? Looks hollow like and not cuz of the holes he makes (could be just art style shining through)
I see it has, she trapped him before he could open it three times. Based on this fight, he felt like he was being disrespected to having to open his eye three times in one battle. Whereas with squad zero, he could have opened it once from the bankai and then Ishida took over the battle.
Zanpakuto powers and their appearance are unique to the owner and their spiritual pressure fuels the Zanpakuto utilize them to the fullest possible. Shikai are the Zanpakuto first release using the bare minimum of the true power just any soul reaper can achieve it while saying a unique command and by calling out the Zanpakutos name. Bankai is the second stage release is activated by saying following with this name
In the manga the mayuri fight was all in one consecutive block, but it looks like they are going to break some of these fights up and layer the together which is something Bleach does a lot which Im not a huge fan of as i feel it messes with the pacing
This fight between shunsui and lille Barro is amazing ! And I like lille cause he's the only Quincy who uses A GUN 🔫instead of a bow 🏹 and shusui power and his bankai are incredible ( and they sound complicated to me..! Lol😅 ) also I always love shunsui and nanao interactions and 11:01 - 11:33 I love shunsui and katen kyokotsu or ohana interactions ! They all great! lol😄
A perfect comparison actually comes from the anime that was inspired by Bleach, Jujutsu Kaisen. Specifically Gojo’s Domain Expansion. It’s powerful, but risky to use with allies around since anyone inside gets hit by Infinite Void like in Shibuya. The same logic applies to Shinsui’s Bankai. Quite the coincidence since even in Shikai, Ohana can create a domain of her own spirit energy that makes anyone inside follow her rules. This is why his and Shinji’s Bankai are so dangerous and rarely used.

Jesus is real guys, and He is coming back to judge the world. He died for our sins so that we wouldn't have too, because the wages odf sin is death. He then rose from the dead in 3 days and concoured both sin and death. Jesus loves all of you and i pray that you all have an encounter with the true and living God of this universe. God bless you, please put your faith in Him! P.S. for those of you who may not have known, Lille's design is that of a biblical angel, specifically a seraph. they are the angels who sing "holy holy holy is the LORD God Almighty" in the presence of God.
Great, first we have people thinking Shunsui is romantically involved with his niece, and now his sword... People know romance doesn't have to be forced into everything right?
Yeah their relationship is definitely unique. Dont get me wrong, I dont think he would fuck his own soul lmao but there is for sure some unusually romantic tension there.
2:44 Seriously 😂 that's his bankai ? Not every power in bleach is bankai ..... The concept of shikai also exists, so try to engrave that name before the end of bleach by next year..... Shunsui 's shikai can bring children's game into reality this time he played daruma san fell over which is equivalent to red light, green light and on top he can stack multiple games at once and simply explain the rules while moving here and there attacking the opponent whereas his BANKAI is a Theatre play between the tragic story of two lovers which shunsui elaborates by putting himself and the opponent into the characters of the play and dividing it into acts ....... # Before i conclude lemme Clear the concept of Shikai and BANKAI once again..... Shikai is called partial release of a ZANPAKUTO and it is derived from what the user 's personality he wants or already shows to the world..... Whereas BANKAI is called the final release of a zanpakuto.... This is the only moment the spirits are manifested outside the body of their user , (it not always explicit like in Shunsui 's case btw ) and a bankai is originated from the deep driving force of what the weilder actually is as a person which is his true self ...... Like gor Ichigo 's case he always wanted a blade and strength to shatter fate inorder to protect the poor souls before he even met rukia and his true BANKAI exactly does that ( not sure though) but yeah basically he literally shatters the literal embodiment of fate which is Yhwach
I misspoke. I apologize. I meant shikai. I understand that his shikai are the childhood games and his Bankai is the theater play because he literally says at the end of the episode that using a bankai every once in awhile isn’t so bad if he can lay his head in her lap.
Shunsui's shikai is based on children's games and his bankai is based on theatre plays for adults. We know this because the play shunsui is telling is a suicide story of a couple, a man and a woman.

[Tidbits][Lotta Reading]
- The Game Shunsui is playing at the start called “Daruma-san ga Koronda” is basically red-light green-light
- Lille Barro’s ability of “Intangibility” was hinted at when he fought Oetsu, If you recall Oetsu at one point attempted to slash him yet the blade went through.
[As an aside, the battle between the 0 Squad and the Schutzstaffel gave at least 1 hint at each member's ability, so for those interested you can go back and watch that battle and see how they did it]
- Many fans have mixed feelings on Lille’s Volstanding look, however, I think it’s very fitting when you understand what Kubo is going for. Quincy obviously have biblical influence, Lille upon his transformation gains 4 pairs of wings, meaning in regards to the bible he’d be a Seraphim (Angels with 8 Wings)
[Seraphim angels are primarily responsible for constantly praising and worshipping God, specifically by repeatedly proclaiming "Holy, Holy, Holy" while circling around the throne of God, signifying their intense devotion to God's holiness; their main function is to glorify God through their unceasing worship and remind others of God's sacred nature.]
- We finally see why Shunsui couldn’t use his Bankai when he fought Starrk.
It’s chilling and makes even the most stubborn characters uncomfortable)
- Shunsui’s Bankai is a Play (A Kabuki Play to be specific) with the opponent being a performer and it’s composed of 3 Acts. A play can’t go on without its performer, therein if the enemy dies during an act, the Bankai will of course end immediately (fans likely questioned this because the title of the chapter covering his Bankai was labeled “The Theatre Suicide”)
There is a lot of context revolving around the Play that Shunsui’s Bankai evokes but it would make this comment too long so I opted to cut it.
We’d love to have life be more relaxed and unserious like games, but we know that when the games are done we have to return to reality.)
- Sidenote: Nanao being able to keep up with Shunsui’s Shunpo without getting tired is a nod to the Soul Society arc when the opposite occurred.
- Sidenote 2: Just a reminder cause I’ve seen some confused comments in other reactions, but Shunsui can in fact (albeit not intentionally) enact several games at once during Shikai
- Sidenote 3: Reikaku are the senses used to detect Reiatsu
- Sidenote 4: Kabuki plays are about historical events and moral conflict in relationships of the heart.

He did that while in his Bankai state, when he did, *Zangetsu was much younger.*
Although the moment at 5:10 is used as a visual metaphor for what Shunsui's said, I think it would make so much sense if that was Ohana's form when in her Shikai state.
If u haven’t already, the Lucifer series on Netflix is an interesting depiction of how the modern day people will react to them.
I like how both head captains yamamoto and shunsui have their bankai in different parts/steps. Yamamoto has north, south, east and west and shunsui has act 1-4.
Lille is literally a god in his holy form
Shunsui isn't allowed to use his Bankai around people, Remember the Stark fight ?
everybody saying i love you but for me shunsui is about to say "I'm dying"
Here's my head canon. The romance and attempted double suicide actually happened in Shunsui's past.
He was a nameless new recruit with an ausuchi when they jumped in the river. He survived, she did not. Instead, she imprinted on the ausuchi and became Katen Kyōkotsu.
As for that little girl, he's known as one of the 3 old guard with Yamamoto. He would have known the OG captains making Shunsui 10,000+ years old. It's 100% believable that he would remember that >9,500 year younger version of himself as a foolish child. He was probably a teenager
Shunsui shikai :- Children's Play
Shunsui Bankai :-: Theatre Play
i loved how the bankai was all "you're wearing some other womans robe.
Please the Bankai is just a stage or technique. She is his ZANPAKUTO. Don't do the same mistake she does.
I agree with you here she loook partty ❤
@@AndreatenthirtyThat’s clearly not what Kubo intended when writing her character. There’s a reason that Kyoraku has such a bizzarre dynamic with his blade, and their relationship in the manga was stated to be “unusual” for a shinigami and his blade. Their exchange literally retraces wedding vows, saying “for better or for worse, till death do us part”.
If a man wants to love his sword, let him lmao
@@kytsunee6324 not really... Its a mistranslation. Its not "for better or worse", in Japanese they said "suki mo kirai te" which means "even if you like it or hate it"
She's literally saying I don't care even you like me or hate me, I'm your sword so deal with it
She's acting lovingly because she's part of the play were she's roleplaying the female lover. That's all.
And till death do us apart is same for every Shinigami so its not similar to marriage vows.
@@kytsunee6324 I wasn’t commenting the scene at all, I was just correcting the use of terms so I don’t get why you are telling me things I know. I’m totally fine with his relationship with “himself”
Kyoraku's full name is Kyōraku no Jirō Sakuranosuke Shunsui.
Ukitake and shunsui have two swords which kind of represents the appearance of two sword personalities for both
6:43 Nimya did actually made him open his eyes during their fight "ep 26" and Nimya told lille that he got strange powers referring to when his blade "syafochi" just went through his body that only can happen when his eyes are open...
At that stage no wepeans could kill him as he's completely intangible especially when he is on his Vollsatndig "Zillel or God Judgment" his eye is permanently open.
Shinsui used his Bankai Hax he didn't actually used his physical sword afterwards.
Maturing is realizing Bleach has the best black anime characters. It's not close
Fact's NGL
This is always such a weird ass thing to say. I never see a character and think oh they are good or not if they are black... i just think if they are a good or bad character regardless of the "race"
@Reaperherpderp yea im talking about respectable character designs/power. Most of us on this side actually DO care to see good representation in anime. Facts
Thanks kubo
@@Reaperherpderpi mean he did not lie tho black characters in bleach not like those dragon ball characters 💀 like be honest compared that anime to bleach anime black characters
@@donttalktome9217 I mean most black characters in Dragon Ball are just one off characters that we only see once or twice in the whole story so I don't think that's a fair comparison. The only exception is Black, who was a main antagonist.
Watch the Zanpakuto Rebellion Arc from the og Bleach. You will learn more about the dynamics between Shunsui and his sword. I remember a scene where he, Ukitake and Ohana were playing some sorts of board/card game and she was beating the other two again and again.
The poem is defo by Nemu (younger) so diff VA her backstory next ep also Shunsui back-story next to next week and after that “FRIEND”
This is actually the first time ever that we see Kyoraku's bankai, in the manga this moment drove fans crazy back in 2016, so many theories concluded with this chapter
My man is in love with his sword lol, he's always been my favorite captain
I love that the true form of Kyoraku's Zanpakuto during the Zanpakuto Rebellion arc
Shunsui's abilities are both simply play. Shikai is playing children's games. Bankai is an actual stage play.
Okay this man definitely makes the seggs with his sword
After the end of this Cour, I recommend you to watch the Zanpakuto Rebellion Arc and Memories of Nobody Movie. Both have direct references in the manga and anime.
i hope to see different kido spells from kyoraku as well,he has a broken bankai and if he combines that with kido spells it'd be super cool to watch,i think kyoraku should be the one closest to aizen using the kido at extreme levels
Lillie Barro one of the strongest characters but Shunsui bankai one shot
You'll find out more about Shunsui's Zanpakuto in 2 weeks.
Funny that Shunsui was going to use his bankai against Stark and Jushiro said "no"
Aizen will have a bankai reveal in the last cour , Grimmjow will go segunda etapa
You're into something with that shadow, remember that he has two zanpakuto...😏😏
I also thought dude looked like an kubo cooking and bro said he the closest to god fire
Just remember 2 swords .means 2 spirits .. usually ..
Well you can see it in this episode if you pay attention.
@PoochZie nope ..
I was like cool cool…so he’s banging he’s sword spirit…guess it’s better than an old, mirrored image of your enemy or a baboon
Oh you're gonna LOOOOVE next episode, I just feel it ♥
Please check out the comments to this comment since I included a breakdown of all the powers and techniques (including translations and original Japanese text) that appeared in this episode. Hopefully this will prevent TH-cam from getting all full of themselves for my needing to make multiple posts. This episode is too important not to and I'd feel ashamed as a professional reader and analyst not to do this just because TH-cam can't tell the difference between posting multiple comments and posting repeat comments.

Did anyone really believe that Mayuri had so easily defeated a member of Yhwach's Schutzstaffel?
===
Lille's Spirit Rifle: Diagramm (ディアグラム, Diaguramu; German for "Diagram"; Viz "Diagramme")
===
Fun Fact: In the original release of Chapter 646, Lille says he is the last Quincy to be given a Schrift. It was changed to first Quincy in Chapter 656. The Japanese release of Volume 71 corrected 646 and changed it to first; however, the official English release of Volume 71 keeps the mistake. I'm glad the anime made sure acknowledge the fixed error.
===
Lille Barro is a much more accurate take on an Angel than the humanoid with feathered wings you tend to see in modern fiction. This makes sense since the Sternritter are supposed to basically be Angels of God with the Schutzstaffel, Yhwach's Royal Guard, being the equivalent of Archangels.
===
Unless they decide to adapt some of Can't Fear Your Own World's material then I don't see anime-onlys understanding Irazusando unless they either get told what Kubo has said about it or they look it up.
===
Shunsui's Shikai brings to life children's games while his Bankai brings to life a Japanese four act play after turning the area into a Japanese theatre.
Structure Breakdown:
-Ki (Introduction): Sets the scene and introduces the characters.

I think Shunsui's zanpakuto actually functions similar to Zangetsu in that the spirit changes its age based on its form.
===
I hope people now understand that Ukitake didn't let Shunsui use his Bankai in Fake Karakura Town because it's indiscriminate to his allies and enemies alike.
===
The second "BABY, HOLD YOUR HAND" was the one I was talking about looking forward to. Last episode had a lot better pacing than I thought and I thought they were going to shove all of it in one episode. That voice in the end credit was Nemu.
I definitely dig the dynamic between Shunsui and Ohana, feels like there is something there for sure.
@@sejadlulic8377
No, he just has a spirit for each blade, but actually that’s kinda spoilers 💀
Sleeping with your Zanpakuto is akin to jrking hoff, so its aight. And since ichigo has stabbed his zanpakuto in his inner world, one can only assume shunsui has stabbed his as well....
Is it just me or does Katen Kyōkotsu: Karamatsu Shinjū's manifested form look similar to that of Soi Azshiro's bankai's physical form.
Shunsuis Bankai so strong made her sneeze 😂
Bless You!! 😉

LOL that has been a huge issue for many, its the squad 0 plot holes.
Next will be menu episode...i hope it won't be sad.
stitch: ohana means family (probably not how its being used here )
6:45 This is why I watch her reactions
True😂
Shunsui and his Zanpakuto give off major married couple vibes
I love the dork head captain.
Prety sure he use that evasion with second eye once during 0 division fight against Oetsu.
All zanpakuto have physical manifestations. Ichigo is the best example. Ichigo white and old man zangetsu
how can someone be 400 episodes into the show and not know the difference between shikai and bankai.
Get well soon!
Yes the Shikai is the child version of Ohana
In the manga the mayuri fight was all in one consecutive block, but it looks like they are going to break some of these fights up and layer the together which is something Bleach does a lot which Im not a huge fan of as i feel it messes with the pacing
the fights ares 50 one ep 50 the other
It's because pacing I believe.
Like, you know, these fights happened at the same time,so maybe Kubo wants different approach.
They all great! lol😄

the toxic relationship bankai
I love the reacts from Aizen's daughter 😅
A perfect comparison actually comes from the anime that was inspired by Bleach, Jujutsu Kaisen. Specifically Gojo’s Domain Expansion. It’s powerful, but risky to use with allies around since anyone inside gets hit by Infinite Void like in Shibuya. The same logic applies to Shinsui’s Bankai. Quite the coincidence since even in Shikai, Ohana can create a domain of her own spirit energy that makes anyone inside follow her rules.
This is why his and Shinji’s Bankai are so dangerous and rarely used.
JJK just copied all it's best ideas from Bleach lol.
@@Zac_Frost Its not like Bleach hasn't copied anything from anyone so stop with this nonsense.

Its disappointing to see people skip over the Zanpakuto rebellion arc where they manifested and went berserk on soul society, Ohana rebelled against Shunsui because she was tired of playing “games” with him.

@killuazoldyk2727 true
What ex Machina does this ep even have?I know there will be many of them in the future? As for rn, there's nothing of that sorts

Nothing like a little self love...
Watch the zampakuto filller, they date each other
That's what we're all saying. She doesn't sound like Nemu.
