The outputs on this are all for speakers, so whether you connect a sub, monitor or speaker setup, it is the same. why do I lose control of the controller? Im playing and then I have no more control I have to turn the controller off and then back on for it to work again is there a problem with the controller?
Have you tried a different computer to see if it is that and not the controller? It may be an issue, but in my experience, more likely to be a computer issue.
Hi James I had the same problem with my Controller. To fix this you have to update the Firmware of the Pioneer DDJ-SR. ( just search for "Firmware pioneer ddj sr") Install the new Version and it will work fine. I hope this helps you. :)

I like every equipment pioneer make for music but these all in one serato mixers they made are nothing but rubish ddj sb2,3 ddjsr1,2ddjsx right up are no good better we stick to our rane box

I've had one for 2 years now, its a solid compact controller! I find myself using it instead of CDJs at most gigs.

The SB is an entry level controller, the SR is halfway between entry and professional level :)
