True; we have had our electric bikes (in Japan) for over 12 years, and they are still safe. Replaced 2 batteries. Back in the UK I bought 10 Bicycles over 10 years, and the first 9 got stolen (zero insurance). One I left there when we emigrated.
This guy is cute. Even though his Japanese vocabularies are limited but he tries to use what he knows. "This is high. This is low. This is amazing. It's dangerous. It's heavy" etc. He is learning a foreign language the right way.

A battery that last four hours is pretty good, especially the power assist doesn’t kick in all the time.

I dont recommand it, because Japanese e bike is slow and powerless because of the law. In my opinon, American e bike like rad and juiced is way better.

The manual says it's made for riders weighing 65kg. I weigh close to 90kg (~195 lbs). Is that a problem for this bike?
I used one for one year before Change the sprocket and chain ,and my weigh is 100 kg.
