That was a great vlog.Lots of variety. The tile place had the big tiles I want.Good to see it.Some lovely scenery,thank-you for filming it and the gorgeous blossom trees.Your sisters kitchen was beautiful.
Thanks Helen. The tile place is called The Tile Portfolio. The owner is called Jo Gilhooly. She was so helpful and I was pleasantly surprised how reasonable the tiles were. Email address hello@thetileportfolio.co.uk.
So good that you tempted your non-vintage hunting sister Lorna to join you and to make some purchases. My daughter hates my thrifting habit and always having to trawl charity shops with me, so imagine my glee the day I found her at the till in a charity shop, half way through purchasing pretty Chinese porcelain tea and coffee services!
I think it's a lovely thing to do 😊 I know both my girls want to raid my housekeeper's cupboard when they fly the nest so I might as well fill it with things they like 💙
I would love to know how much things cost- not necessarily what you've bought, but in general when something catches your eye. Thanks for taking us on your adventures!
I’ve always heard Stephanie on Chateau Diaries talk about Emmaus in France but didn’t realize there were stores in the UK. There’s 3 in Hampshire I’ll have to check out soon. Thank you.

The table will look perfect in your home.☺️
That's what I thought 🙂 I have been looking for one for a while. I can't wait to get it home.
There was a very small, bronze, perhaps dog statue as you came in to the Antique store. I loved it!
I spotted that. Isn't it gorgeous!
The table is so unique. You found some great things. What a beautiful area, too.
Thank you Sandy. I have been hoping to find a table like this for ages. I am thrilled 😊
I loved getting stuff for my bottom drawer. Glad you are keeping old traditions alive. I'm 44 yrs married soon. ❤

At about 8:30 I noticed the kitchen. For a second, I thought I had lost the plot. You’re at your sister’s house 😅.
Yes, I'm visiting for a few days 😊
Terrific vlog! Nice to see so much of the countryside. So nice you found some tile you like and other pieces. ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Thank you, and love that table too. Cheers

Yes, Emmaus was founded in France and the French ones are incredible. There are a fair few now in the UK. It's such a wonderful charity.
I actually like that shabby little table.
I love the table. It's the epitome of Elegantly Knackered Style 😊
You have to dig under, you never know what you'll find!!
I love a good rummage
No no no dishwasher on fine china.
It really isn't fine china - just mass produced, in need of a new home and to be enjoyed.
