I LOVE this vase with the reverse decoupage, it looks beautiful. The images you used are gorgeous too. I've been looking for images like yours, but without success. Could you tell me where I can find them, or something similar? Oh BTW, you CAN use ink jet prints for decoupage. All you have to do is print out your chosen images, making sure that the printer is set to a high saturation level, so that the prints are very brightly coloured, and then place the prints on a baking tray and put them in a hot oven, at 200 degrees Celsius, for 5 minutes, and then you take them out and let them cool to room temperature. After that you just spray the prints with hair spray - spraying lightly over the paper from side to side and let them dry. The prints are now sealed and ready for you to decoupage with them. And you don't need to use special paper, just ordinary copy paper is fine for this, as long as it's acid free (so the paper doesn't go yellow.)The heat of the oven and the hair spray seal the ink completely. I hope you try this technique as it really works well. Love from Amanda Jones in Melbourne, Australia ❤️ xox
What an interesting use of materials you’ve shared with us. I haven’t used crackle paint or gold leaf before so I appreciated seeing your techniques. Please consider omitting the Muzak. It’s distracting and the repetition interferes with your excellent presentation.
Thank you for providing the extra details in your instruction! Love how these turned out! New subscriber, excited to look through your other videos. Thank you so much for all the inspiration!
Stunning! Thank you. Question: knowing I’ll be filling vase with water/flowers, will the metallic paint on inside of vase be enuf to protect? What would you use to provide further protection?
Me ha encantado tu trabajo!!! Realmente fantástico!!! Soy de Uruguay Sud-América, hablo español, no entiendo tu explicación. Una pregunta: la pintura blanca interior, es pintura craquelada? Un gran saludo!!!
You could use a small cut-off of a dry sponge, or even balled up kitchen roll, to help push against the pics if you don't think your fingers are adequate!
it is one of the bestest video i have ever seen . very well explained . Can you tell me two things 1 i have same crackle medium and i leave to dry sometime even overnight as this 15-20 min doesnt work for me . even after that my crackle most of the time doesnt come out well . what wrong am i doing ? is it something to do with brush stroke of medium or final coat of paint ? can you please share tips for that . 2 what if i dont have gold leafs and i dont want do gold gilding what is the other option for the same look
Paint with glue first, then when nearly dry go over with acrylic paint. When that is nearly dry, use a hair dryer or heat gun to dry. This, I'm told, causes the crackle effect!
@@amethyst1826I'm happy find that explanation. I really need to know exactly what and when to do. I have big glass though to do some decorations but now finally I find you with right and beautiful art . ❤
❤ is wonderful work you doing ❤ Just amazing....and never see on you tobe that work on glas . You inspired me very much and i want to do soon as I can. I will please 🙏 that you write me he other things you used. Deco page is familiar to me and gold lives . I really want to try do this . You are a real artist i love your work. Thanks for sharing 😊🙏 Greetings from Florida
I wouldn’t put water in it as it would at some point seep into the paint and then the paper… even though we have sealed it with varnish. Wiping with a wet cloth will not harm the work. But constant water will. Hope this helps. 😊
Thank you. I used laser printer. Ink jet prints - the color will bleed when modpodge/ decopage glue is used. There are ways to avoid that.. but it’s a long process. Laser is best.
For this item, i have not applied any sealer on the gold leaf. But you could use a polyacrylic varnish or gold leave sealer on top if required. I didn’t put any as its just a decor piece and would not be roughly used. Hope this helps.
Hi Olinda, I used Speedball Mona Lisa Gold Leaf Kit. The kit comes with the gold leaf, glue and the sealer. I had odered from Amazon. www.amazon.com/Speedball-Mona-Lisa-Gold-Leaf/dp/B002NQ7RZA/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Speedball+Mona+Lisa+Gold+Leaf+Kit&qid=1622924800&s=arts-crafts&sr=1-1
Pink champagne is the name of the light pink paint I have used. It’s chalk paint by Dixie Belle Paint company. You can use any color of chalk paint or even acrylic paint you like and which compliments the paper you are using. Hope this helps 😊
Thank you
That is stunning 😍 I do a lot of decoupage, but never crossed my mind to do something like that. I'm truly impressed. Great video!

FANtastic design and application!Vase cannot hold water for flower right?
Right, constant water on the painted inside portion might damage the work.

Just WOW
It's so pretty. I am definitely going to try it.
1 question...can I put fresh flowers with water inside?
I wouldn’t put water in it as it would at some point seep into the paint and then the paper… even though we have sealed it with varnish. Wiping with a wet cloth will not harm the work. But constant water will. Hope this helps. 😊
Very beautiful. Are these digital prints that were printed on a home printer like ink jet or laser?
That's a valuable question. I am waiting for the reply too...😊
Thank you. I used laser printer. Ink jet prints - the color will bleed when modpodge/ decopage glue is used. There are ways to avoid that.. but it’s a long process. Laser is best.
Tem como enviar os links destas imagens....são lindas❤
Hi what kind of paper you used ..
Thank you
Beautiful 🤍💚💛🧡
When working with glasses n bottles, round peices, I lay them on a bag of rice to keep them from tolling around🙂
Thank you, that’s an excellent tip. 😊
Do you use a sealer for the inside and outside on the gold leaf?
For this item, i have not applied any sealer on the gold leaf. But you could use a polyacrylic varnish or gold leave sealer on top if required. I didn’t put any as its just a decor piece and would not be roughly used. Hope this helps.

Glad you like it! Thank you.
Que lindo❤❤❤
Which metallic gold is this? The name of the brand.
What or where can we find digital prints? Do you mean laser prints or pre-printed ones from elsewhere?
Can u share the links of gold leaf n the glue u hve used Thanks again
Hi Olinda, I used Speedball Mona Lisa Gold Leaf Kit. The kit comes with the gold leaf, glue and the sealer. I had odered from Amazon.

This pink champagne is it special paint or acrylic. What is it? Anyone know. I know the vids 3 years old I'm just getting into this.
Pink champagne is the name of the light pink paint I have used. It’s chalk paint by Dixie Belle Paint company. You can use any color of chalk paint or even acrylic paint you like and which compliments the paper you are using. Hope this helps 😊
@@Bluelotusdesigns That is great thanks so much.
Esses papéis são impressos a laser
I am confused with digital paper where do I get it
Best if you can print your motif on photo paper. It will not bleed.
By digital paper I mean laser print outs. I designed the image and then took out a coloured laser print. Hope that helps.
prachtige vaas grts uit belgium
Lindo
🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩👏👏👏
Why is this done on the inside rather than the outside? I have never seen this done
Different look
It's called "decoupage under glass". This is how it has always been done for centuries!
When saying "digital prints" are you actually meaning laser prints? Because if I purchase digital prints I print them on my ink jet.
Oh, my. All that wasted materials. I would suggest to paint with white chalk paint and start all over again. 😊
How about Sharing the link to your tutorial? 😮
Wow!
This is definitely not your granny’s decoupage any more…way better technique.
Beautiful
