It's been on my Christmas list for a few weeks. Just saved my mrs a fortune if she only needs to get me the standard pump. Tubeless rules.

Thanks, I’ve never thought of asking my wife for a pump 😳

@@trick700 it's a self preservation thing. If I have a good pump I can be asked to pump her tyres up when she gets a puncture.

So I bought the Bluetooth version a couple of weeks ago. I was having the same issue with the app just searching but not connecting. I had pulled the sticker off the end of the pump but I hadn't actually taken the cap off and pulled out the little piece of card that prevents the battery from making contact with the leads and draining. Once I pulled that out it worked fine. My phone, a Blackberry Key 2, isn't on the compatibility list but that hasn't been an issue.

I thought that might be so, but I couldn't see a way to take the cap off and access the battery. Maybe if Sigma Sports had told me that I wouldn't have returned it to them. TBH £50 to get Bluetooth - even if it did work - is too much; without it the pump is just as good, and I never care overmuch about pressure, anyway!

@@JulianHutchings it is a lot of money just for Bluetooth. The pump was an early birthday gift to myself so I splurged. :)

Opened like true old bugger sir (much as I would to being similar in age) I might get me one of these fancy pumps as I ride without currently and I do like a gadget or two . Just saw the end and checked my phone and it’s post steam punk 😳 good video though 👍🏻

I've got the standard non-Bluetooth version, and I really like how sturdy it feels, and the locking chuck is better than the kind you thread onto the valve. According to Russ over at Pathlesspedaled, he found the standard version is a little more efficient at inflating than the Bluetooth one. Bluetooth is annoying anyway. I hate even trying to pair my Garmin with my phone.

Yes, I watched his review; I also have the Lezyne pump and agree, it's a pain. At least, he got his bluetooth pump to work!

Haha, when I clicked the video I thought ‘why would you buy a premium quality product which should last for decades when it’s got pointless tech tacked on which will render it useless in less than a decade’. Looks like they’re well ahead of me on that.

It should still work with iPhone X. What iOS software version do you have? Does it connect and read 0psi, or doesn’t it connect at all?

I'm using the latest version, and it just shows 'searching...' but it never finds. A bit like searching for a competent Minister in our shit Government.

I just got mine in yesterday. I tried to download the app and it isn't even availability. Ironically this video popped on my feed.

I'll do a follow uo when I hear from Sigma, but prolly just swap it for the non-Bluetooth one - £50 cheaper!

Julian Hutchings I bought the Impero recently. Very pleased with it and great quality!! Since your first Silca review I’ve spent a fortune on their kit!!!

I purchased the non-bluetooth version a few days ago and had a similar struggle with the packaging. It looks nice but impossible to get into without ripping the fucker to pieces.

The app isn't even available. Searched play store and also went to Silca website and got directed to a page that says the app is no longer available.
