The amount of modification and work that goes into each channel, each individual sound is truly impressive. it really is admirable. but being from the time of the 80' 90'. This makes me terribly admire the DJs I listened to at that time, without all these infinite possibilities with plugins, vst, multitrack editors, etc
I think why the track works in a DJ set is because of the vocal. If u cut the low end out in a set and only let the vocal play in the background of another song it sounds really cool, also the transitions are really smooth which makes it really easy to mix in and it sounds good basically after any song.
Such a banger! You got to love how punchy the bass is in this one. In general i feel like you always have some of the cleanest low ends in the whole scene, would be great if you could talk a little bit about that, especially your kicks :) Also i'd really like to see more details on your sound design in Massive. In terms of tracks I would love to see more of your harder stuff like BB got me like, impossible, alcoholic, ...
hi curbi, I think that many people like me do not understand how you combine kick, bass and clap in your tracks so that it sounds strong and at the same time harmonious. I want to understand this secret, so that I can finally use it to replace the usual soft clipper. thank you in advance (from russia with love)
Great explanation there Toby. I really like your new track Vertigo aswell. The creativity in it is what we really need to keep electronic music alive in times with no shows.
You should consider doing episodes for 'Triple Six' and 'Discharge' because imo, those 2 are the greatest tracks of yours ever and I personally believe many many upcoming young producers got motivated by those because you fir example signed with Spinnin' when 'Discharge' came out and you were only 16.... At least, I got motivated so much I started producing stuff from that point, and would love to see how that legendary track is produced :) And to be honest, it would be maybe a good chance for producers to see like how you actually started evolving and changing your sounds from those bangers into these :D Peace, and much love from Croatia!
That vocal processing is god level wow like HOW TF IS THIS YOUR OWN VOICE I’m shocked
I literally thought it was a female vocalist
@@JayEskarYT so did I bro

I think reversed sinth sounds are pretty dope, gives a sensation like when you run out of air and make a deep desperate breathe. You feel relieved
