You could put some trees/other greenery in between the wall and the tracks to fill the gap there

That's a good idea, I'll have to try that out!

A fence design that I prefer for areas like that are from Set #60215. The wooden fence is slightly higher than the white fence which gives some privacy to the alley behind the modular buildings. I also think that trees and bushes might be nice to put in that gap you have there. Just make sure that the train has clearance and won't constantly bump the trees, etc! 😉

That's a good idea! I'll have to try that out. My only concern with that type of fence is that it would only look good from one side, do you have any ideas on how to work around that?

You could use a hinge brick to angle your brick walls. I liked your idea, extending the patio area area…..

I've seen the small leaf/branch piece used to make a hedge row/fence. That could be interesting and bring a pop of color to the area.

I like the building techniques you used for the masonry wall. But I would use light grey as it shows more contrast compared to the dark grey which is the same colour as the pavement.

That's a good idea! My only concern with that though is that the baseplate is light gray, so regardless of which gray I use I feel like the masonry wall would blend into something

To upgrade your fountain, you can use the flying warrior from the minifigs series 15 😉👍

How about a classic Drifter minifig area with their tent & sleeping bag, camp fire thing going on?
