it's not Javanese. both of them singing in Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) Because Malay Language is the root of Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Malaysia. Javanese is not an official language in Indonesia even though it is a widely spoken local language.

Indonesian and Malaysian can understand each other because the Indonesian language (Bahasa Indonesia) is derived from the Malay root language. The standardized Malaysian language is very similar to the standard Indonesian language. Cakra as all other Indonesian, speaks Indonesian language (Bahasa Indonesia) he also speaks Sundanese where he came from (from West Java) it is different from the Javanese language, and for his music, concert, and mainly for daily life to be understandable with all Indonesian/Malaysian audiences he needs to speak Indonesian, not Sundanese/Javanese.

Just reminder, Indonesia has around 1,100 local languages, the official list for now is 700 local language, but our lingua Franca, the language that unite us as Indonesian, (and also understandable by Malaysian, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, Timor Leste and South of Thailand) is called Bahasa Indonesia.

Among the guest singers other than Cakra Khan were Anggun, Afgan, Jaclyn Victor and others. But my fav was Siti's duet with Anggun singing 'Snow in The Sahara (Anggun's song) and 'Bukan Cinta Biasa' (Siti's song). Their two beautiful contrasting voices blended together in those performances. You should check it out. 😉

I believe you guys don't really read comments here in youtube, or maybe you just read it randomly. Because we've told you sooooo many times that Indonesian songs use Indonesian language aka Bahasa Indonesia, which is our national language. Most of us speak Bahasa Indonesia daily. Our songs, movies, tv programmes use Bahasa Indonesia. We don't use Javanese language in our pop songs, unless it's a regional/traditional song. Javanese and Indonesian are two very different languages. Please avoid the confusion.
Indonesians and Malaysians can understand each other in formal or literature level (including song lyrics) because our language root was the same, the Malay language or Bahasa Melayu. Indonesians can understand Malaysian songs and vice versa, because most of the vocabularies are the same. That's why many Indonesian singers are popular in Malaysia, and some Malaysian singers are also well known in Indonesia.
And if any case you're confused about how to pronounce an artist's name or the title of the song, Google Translate is always there to help you. Choose translation in Indonesian, not Javanese. ;)

Indonesia's national language is Bahasa Indonesia, which rooted heavily from Melayu language with many other languages absorbed (Portuguese, Dutch, etc) .. Malaysia speaks Melayu.. So we mostly can understand each other, with differences here & there.. Like British English, US English, & Aussie English, they understand each other, but they have differences in some meanings or words.. Javanese is one of local / ethnic language most widely spoken in Java Island. So, for Indonesian songs, we use national language, which is Bahasa Indonesia, not Javanese. Cakra Khan himself is a Sundanese ethnicity, one of Java Island ethnicity, so he also can speak Sundanese as local language.

It's bahasa Indonesia. Not Javanese. & Indonesia & Malaysia languages is similar just different pronounciation. Bcz both come from the original one called Melayu Language.

Pleaseeee i said it many times again & again it’s Bahasa Indonesia ( Indonesian Language) which has the same root with Malaysian language ( Melayu Roots).
Javanese is only one of many folk / tribes but the the larger one in Indonesia. But Indonesia not use Javanese language as everyday life.
The people in Sumatra, west Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Papua, NTT, Bali etc CAN’T SPEAK JAVANESE!!!
Btw I my self have a javanese roots. But in wvery day life we use our national language : BAHASA INDONESIA

FYI , Indonesia using Bahasa Indonesia as national language not Javanese language as like you said, Javanese language just a local language for Center and East Java but In the West Java have different Etnic they're call Sundanese mostly and in the Capital City Jakarta have Betawi Etnic of course with they own language ( Indonesia from West to the east have a lot of region, etnics, culture and local languages ) they're singing
Mix in Bahasa Indonesia / Melayu, because when Malaysian singing the sound like Bahasa Indonesia, because the root of Bahasa Indonesia from Melayu language...

That was not javanese language. That indonssian language. Malaysian and Indonesian language are almost the same.. Almost similar. We do understand each others event though some words has different meaning or some words are replaced with other words. So mostly both countries understand songs from Both countries. We both also have quite numbers of favorite songs from both countries, evergreen songs from 50s till now either old songs, new songs or rearranged songs. Javanese just another dialects from the island of Java Indonesia but not national language of Indonesia. Mostly other Indonesian will not understand javanese from other part of Indonesia and they will use national language. Same goes to Malaysia as we have dialects from North South East or west but to understand we use Malaysia language. This is Siti concert tribute to her 30 years in industry called "siti & friends" her own concert and she invited huge Malaysian and indonesian singers in her concert. There also a special MV from this concert her tribute to Whitney Houston whereby she sang with her a song called "memories". This song was originally recorded by Whitney Houston when she was only 19 yo and unfortunately never released. The girl on screen actually not Whitney but a model from ANTM cycle 3 name Yaya portrayed her.

Indonesian and Malaysian are mutually intelligible, much like Mexican and Spaniards can understand each other.
Javanese is a different language not in any way related to both above except for some shared vocabulary. Javanese is regional or minority language in Indonesia. There are hundreds upon hundreds of different language across both countries and Indonesian-Malay is the lingua franca and unifying language.
