I had that exact bike, as soon as it came out I went down and traded my CB750 Honda for it. I paid about $2400 for it. I loved that bike, It's a good thing it had that step seat because on hard ACC it would try to slide you off the bike.
They made 5000 in 76 , first foreign vehicle built in the States, and the first ever Japanese production custom bike , introduced to capture some of the Harley and custom market. Morris mag wheels, Jardine pipes and Mulholland rear shocks as standard. One of the nicest looking bikes to ever come off a production line in my opinion , I just sold mine ( chassis # 00076 ) recently in the UK for £5000... Gutted
So a few things not correct. Grab rail behind the seat, pinstripes are wrong on the tank, front fender not correct, torque link is chromed, front master cylinder resevoir is for a single disc brake but that's what everyone puts on since you need to rebuild the oem. It's nice but you can't use it as a correct example. Would need to see it in person to identify if any other inaccuracies.
Good pick up your right about the grab rail just standard 900 type and the rear brake arm should be black but didn't think the tank pinstripes were bad and the repo master cylinder can be bought in 5/8 twin disc and single disc.
I had the blue 1980 KZ1000 LTD. Absolutely loved that bike.
